After 5 months, the gauge stopped working and needed to be replaced

This is a replacement for a gauge I bought and installed about five months ago. The display is appealing to me, and it appears to be accurate. I sent it to Autometer to see what happened, in the hopes that this one will last longer and be more reliable than the first. Aside from the issue with the gauge's reliability, it's a fantastic device. Only time will tell if this is a problem with the product line as a whole or if I simply received a defective unit.
