There is no wire in the package. Installing the wire where you want it is a piece of cake.

Yes, this appears to be a viable option. My 135 mariner was able to use it successfully.

Amazon Warehousing is a dangerous place! The item did not come with a mounting bracket, but that is to be expected from an Amazon warehouse

You can not hold it against them because 40% of Amazon stuff has been returned! br>I'm sure Sierra International makes a good gauge. Sierra isn't the same as this. If you call the Sierra International phone number provided by Amazon, you will be told that it is incorrect. It's a mess. Fortunately, I'm handy and can make a bracket on my own! Heck, I believe it was only $30, or half the price of a new one!.
