Faria's electronic sender is available for purchase separately. Your sender's location is determined by the motor you've chosen. If your block's sender wire isn't brown, it should match the color of the sender wire attached to the existing gauge. If this gauge is a replacement, I recommend getting a new sender as well, because the resistance range on senders from other manufacturers may differ. This is in accordance with Faria's installation instructions for all oil and water temperature gauges. br>Be sure you're looking for a water temperature gauge, not an outboard cylinder head temperature gauge, as they're two different models.
