I was disappointed because I was told it would fit my 98 Camaro, but once I got it, I had to go out and buy a new adapter and a new temperature sender to make it work. Going to a local speed shop would have been less expensive.
When comparing live data from the opposite head, it's about 10 degrees off. It would be beneficial to have a little more information on the marks. However, it is a nice gauge. I regret not opting for the 2 5/8" model.
This was the third temperature gauge I tried, following those from AutoZone and Napa, and the only one that worked properly. On a 1992 Jeep Wrangler, this part was used to replace the temperature gauge. So far, everything has gone smoothly.
I've never invested in true Autometer gauges, but their quality and readings appear to be far superior to those of the other "prettier" gauges.
It's inexact by a significant margin, rendering it useless.
Excellent craftsmanship. For more than a decade, it has been a reliable companion. This is the second time I've purchased an electric water temperature gauge. The first gauge in a 1987 Jeep Cherokee with 300,000 miles has been working flawlessly for ten years. My wife wants to do the same thing with her Jeep. You get what you pay for, and this one is built to last.
good.
This is a great gauge.
