Is the resistance 33 ohms when it's empty or when it's full?

I'm sorry, but I have no recollection. The lower number, I believe, was already taken.

Is there a way to adjust it?

When you install it, you adjust the arm with float to calibrate it. I came close to getting mine right.

I misplaced my manual; is one available on the internet?

There is no need for a manual. The ohm specifications can be found in the Amazon listing.

Is it possible to purchase just the mounting bracket?

I'm not sure if you're aware that mine was created by me.

it was a success On my 1989 Ford Mach 1 speed boat, I installed this to replace the fuel gauge

I couldn't use my stock wiring plugs because the plugs on the back of this gauge were narrowing studs, so I had to make some quick wiring changes and simply put metal eye ends on my wires and fasten them to the studs on the back of this gauge. However, the quality appears to be quite good; the glass is slightly curved and appears to be quite attractive.

There were two trips out

There is already moisture in it. Obtain a superior product. Mine only lasted two trips before the inside became fogged up.

This is something I bought for my boat, but make sure you get the right ohms gauge for your sending unit. This corresponds to the 0 mark. My sender uses a resistance of 195 ohms. . . . The meter is accurate! At night, the red light is not bothersome to your eyes.

It couldn't have worked out any better for me. I figured I'd have to double-check the connection between my fuel tank and my computer. No need, the gauge was a perfect replacement for my old one, and the assembly was superior to other brands. Installing it was a breeze. Love it.
