Questions & Answers

What PSI range do you have?

Range is good: 20- 120 PSI - This was purchased specifically for my 2006 Ford E350 Passenger Van and is ideal for light truck use. Despite the fact that all four tires are identical, the rear tires must be inflated to 80 PSI in order to carry a full load (14 passengers and 1 driver). Only 55 PSI is pumped into the front tires.

It's just as good as the original
5/5

Because some of the negative reviews indicated that the gauge did not work properly, I was hesitant to purchase it. When you remove the gauge stick from the valve, some people claim it will slide back in a little, while others claim that two of the gauges will give you different, and inaccurate, readings. br>I purchased two, one to replace a 30 year old Milton that I had lost, and the other to go with my wife's truck. Both worked flawlessly and consistently produced the same results in multiple tests. br>In my opinion, it's just as good as the original, and it's still made in the United States!.

Milton's excellence - For odd angles, it's simple to use
5/5

This was purchased for use on a motorcycle with large disc brakes, which makes using a standard single-disc brake inconvenient. gauge of the direction This Milton gauge is heavy, and it feels substantial and long-lasting, just like the others I own. I'm confident in its accuracy because it reads exactly the same as the Milton gauge I've been using. br>br>There are less expensive pressure gauges on the market, and I've used a few of them. Every time I meet a Milton, I'm disappointed.

This isn't going to work at all
3/5

It provides a fairly accurate reading when placed on the valve stem. When you remove it from the valve stem, the pressure sucks the indicator back into the body about halfway, giving you a much lower reading. It works as long as you don't mind standing on your head to read the gauge while it's still attached to the value stem. I wouldn't recommend this product to those of us who aren't gymnasts or contortionists; it's the fourth tire gauge I've bought in the last few months, and none of them has worked. I'm curious as to how difficult it is to make a tire gauge.

The gauge is solid
5/5

This gauge has proven to be fairly accurate so far. The construction appears to be well-made and of high quality. Milton has a reputation for dependability, and he lives up to it. br>However, the angle of this type of gauge is only suitable for automobiles, bicycles, and various small tires. Large dual-wheel tires should not be used. It's a pain to get the inner tire in the right spot. Others may have had better luck, but I can barely get half the tires measured correctly when driving an 18-wheeler. When you need easy access to those stubborn-looking objects, the straight dual foot is the way to go. stem valves with an angle.

When the pressure gauge is removed from the tire, it drops a few pounds
3/5

Milton is a reputable company. This one, on the other hand, reads very accurately while still attached to the tire and drops by about 3 lbs once removed. When I contacted Customer Service, the representative informed me that this was an unusual situation. I was advised to contact the company via email. I did, and all I got in return was "crickets. " It's been nearly a month since we last saw each other. A good American company with an "overseas-oriented" strategy. "no-service" is a command that you can use.

It appears to be more capable than it is
3/5

Quality control isn't very good, as many others have stated. Two of them were purchased. When removed from the tire valve, one worked perfectly, while the other dropped a few psi. The seller gladly replaced it with another that performs the same function. They didn't require me to return the old one, so I could have asked for replacements until I found one that worked properly. I opted for a $1 instead. It's a 99-cent plastic cheapie from the convenience store gas station that works flawlessly.

Poor finish and appears to be factory seconds (?)
3/5

Because of the poor finish, I received two of these, which appeared to be factory seconds. The heads were sealed in Milton factory packaging, but once opened, it was clear that they had discolored and tarnished to a dull gray. I was disappointed by the uneven surface, which was not uniformly shaped and polished as I would expect from Milton. My previous Milton gauges didn't have any issues with fit and finish, but these do. I'm starting to think they're Chinese knock-offs. off that is smuggled into Milton packages (? Will keep them due to the inconvenience of returning them, but the savings were insufficient to justify purchasing them from Amazon. Purchase items locally to ensure Milton quality.

For the price of one, you'll get two readings! The stick retracts slightly when the gauge is removed from the valve stem
3/5

I asked Milton which position would be the correct pressure reading, but he didn't respond. A beautiful metal body gauge is useless unless it can be used to accurately measure pressure.
