Is it possible to use this sending unit with a VDO 350-? 104 psi gauge at 80 psi?

Because both of my car dealerships were B/O, I ordered it from Amazon (I needed it right away). This is a universal sending unit that can be used anywhere. My Dakota digital instrument panel is the only thing I use it for. In addition, I use a genuine pressure gauge.

The pressure sensors at VDO need to be improved

This is a pattern of failure. Every few months, I have to replace mine. It's a major headache. VDO's pressure sensors need to be improved in terms of quality and/or robustness.

It really works

On my 1970 VW Beetle, this was a great solution. This is an authentic VDO transmitter. My oil pressure gauge on my dashboard is now operational once more. Installation is a breeze.
