It looked black at first, but it was actually silver. It fits perfectly with my LS and appears to have enough room for the oil switch and adapter. While the LS computer is on sensor, I am running stock gauges. I can't wait to start the car, but it's been a slow build so far, and everything is falling into place.
I had the same problem as other customers - the color was not as described. The adapter housing was supposed to be black, but it turned out to be brushed aluminum instead.
In addition, the price is excellent, and the shipping is quick.
When I first saw it, it looked fantastic, and I have no doubt that it will perform admirably. Except for the one mounted on the engine, all of the photos show it in black, and it appears to be brushed aluminum. It's not a big deal, but I'm going to do a color scheme with my build and will now powder coat it before installing it.
It is available with a variety of port options. This company sells a lot of useful LS swap parts.
My oil pressure sensor is perfectly mounted thanks to the excellent design and solution.
This was an excellent replacement for my oil pan's stock modified plate. All I needed was an oil pressure sending unit adapter, and I was good to go.
