Is this a 2 inch gauge and will it fit on a gauge pillar?

What color is this one's backlight? Depending on the part number, Hewitt has them in red or green. ?

Will it withstand a semi-trailer?

Yes. Hewitt gauges are made to be used in a commercial setting.

What is the maximum length of tubing you can use with this? I'd like to use this on my 40-foot rear-engined RV. ?

It won't be a problem to get to 40'.

Exceptionally durable and cost-effective! Great meter! This item is not compatible with kw

It will not work with a Kenworth computer. If you're going to use kw, you'll have to wire it as an aftermarket installation.

For Cummins turbo diesel engines, this gauge is ideal

Install gauge works great; just remember that the black wire is hot and the white wire is ground, and the light will work fine. I had to add a resistor to the light wire to dim the light because it was too bright.

The needle has a lot of swings in it

It's not a smooth needle. Under throttle, it will bounce between 30 and 40 mph. It's kind of pointless.

Quality at a reasonable price, and the quality gauge is accurate

I double checked it with another pressure gauge and it is 100% accurate as well. If the needle bounces around a lot on you, it could be a sign of a boost leak. Don't slam the gas pedal; instead, look for boost leaks in your truck. Any owner operator should have a good boost gauge.

When it comes to gages, I'm from the old school. The idea of getting a direct read appeals to me. I've never been a big fan of digital gages. These are excellent value for money!.
