Is this compatible with a 2006 Cummins engine? The thead sizes are correct, but I'm curious if it will allow the gauge to read correctly. ?

The goal of this fitting is to prevent "surging" pressure changes from prematurely wearing out your gauge's needle and sensor. It will provide you with the most recent pressure average. That's what this little fitting is for, but I didn't install mine; instead, on the fass titanium series pump, I purchased an extension to give my sensor enough room.

It fits perfectly on top of the fuEl filter housing, to which I'll connect the relocation hose and mount the sensor on my 98's firewall. 5 dodge cummins, and for the guy who was installing it on his vp44, I believe that is your return as well as your overflow valve, which you wouldn't want to remove.

Have . I'm assuming it's working properly. I have an 03, so I don't have the fuel pressure surge issue all that often, but I figured it was worth mentioning just in case, especially since the sensor to replace is around $120.

It appears to function properly, as it prevents my Cummins from hammering on the fuel pressure gauge. It is not a small hole, but rather a. It works again with a large hole with a dense steel wool look inside. I'm just hoping it doesn't break down on the inside and send bits into my injection pump.

In 1998, it was put in place. It was a perfect match. In 1998, it was put in place. When relocating the sending unit with the stainless steel hose, 5 Dodge Cummins should be used. To extend the life of the sending unit, this was unquestionably necessary.

It's fine, but don't use it on the threads with Teflon tape

Fits my 1/8 npt in line Vulcan fitting and works on my edge juice with attitude sensor. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because it was covered in Teflon tape. Teflon will be degraded by the ingredients in diesel, which will eventually reach your injection pump. Diesel necessitates the use of a liquid thread sealant. Permatex produced one for me. Otherwise, this is a good product.

Because it didn't fit into my vp44, I gave it three stars because it's a genuine part, but it doesn't fit the vehicle as stated

I can't comment on the functionality of this fitting because it doesn't fit on my 99 Dodge diesel automatic with vp44, despite the fact that it says it does. Even though I have a fass system with half-inch lines from pump to pump, the fitting on the vp44, at least the one I have, has a much too large thread for this to fit. Hopefully, the seller is willing to accept returns.
