Hello,br>It works on a 12 V circuit that is always on. It does not have its own battery. br>It is my hope that this information will be useful.

I have a 2012 and I want to replace the fuel gauge with a digital one. Can I do this by cutting the plug and wire?

No wires from the can am should be cut. The garage was installed using the supplied have wires, which I then plugged into the original can am plug end. Make sure the gauge wiring is properly soldered or has appropriate plug fittings that will fit into the can am plug holes. Do not cut the can am wiring, and disconnect your battery before doing any electrical work on it.

Not workingbr>Don't waste your money; I've contacted the seller, but he hasn't responded to my emails; it doesn't work after hours of trying but still failing; after that, we connected the orange and red wires and it worked; however, we don't know how to connect the adjustment button.

It looks nice, but it's a little difficult to put together because there are so many wires to connect for just a clock. Because this unit has a separate button for setting the clock, you'll need to drill a second hole in the dash.

I installed this because the analog clock I had was broken and I wanted to upgrade to a digital clock. br>It was simple to put together, and the wiring was straightforward thanks to the diagram and instructions that came with it. br>The time-adjustment push button had to be drilled and mounted. The installation took about an hour and a half. 5 hrs.
