There is no problem fitting them in the cup holders. The problem is that they did not arrive together. The spring for the push top had to be assemble and it was a bit difficult. While I like the idea, I find it more useful with the top off. The spring can easily be disturbed and broken if disturbed too often. I don't even think it's worth the $8 it costs. Earlier today, I received my package and it appeared to be in good condition. I put it in my car and a few hours later, the top just fell off as I was throwing away something. Upon further inspection, it looked like it was superglued on, and there was no hinge at all. The super glue was sticky and melted, perhaps as a result of it being pretty hot in my car, since I live in Florida. This might be an acceptable excuse, if it weren't for the fact that this product was made to be left in a vehicle.

My favorite thing about these bins is their design. This will allow my two-year-old to know where to put her trash and she also loves it! The other car trash box I have is bigger and it's invaluable to me as a mom, but these two are the best for small items like gum I want to throw away, or wraps, gas cans, and If you have them every where in your car, they add up to a messy situation. My personal favorite part about the bins is the way they to measure the diameter of the base of your travel coffee mug to see if it matches the diameter of the bin. There was no sign of any deterioration on the lids, as some reviews said that it was difficult to put together and it came apart. I highly recommend this product to my wife since she likes things like this.

In the past, I used to find all kinds of left-over trash behind the rear passenger seat. Several times, bubble gum had stuck to the carpet, and once, it had become stuck to the middle seat and had to be removed (but some remained). The back of the building has a small trash can, but people knock it about as they enter from left to right. This cup holder trash can fits perfectly in the back cupholder with its clearly marked "PUSH" cover. I don't need to put it in the trash anymore I just pick it up at the end of the day.

A weak glue attaches the lid to the top of the container. The glue eventually failed taking the lid with it, making it An entire lid came off of one container (see photos). It is impossible to close the lid on the second container. As the container can still be used without the lid, one star is given to it. I recommend that you do not buy this product since it is of inferior quality based on my experience.

This is the item I bought to put in my door cup holder to dispose of receipts, wrappers, napkins/tissues, etc. The recessed trash can opens and closes easily for easy cleaning. The trash receptacle is solid and does not hang open during use. I have, however, found that it only fits in the cup holders in the center console of my Subaru Outback. The pouch top is wider than the pouch panel in the door, so even though it fits, when you close the door, the top pops As soon as you click it in place, the top stays This product would have been perfect if it had been twisted on a little more firmly. I do not want to discourage this product if it fits your door, or you use it in the middle, that's fine.

I have used this trash can for over a year and it has shown no signs of wear and tear. Initial inspection of the item led to my dissatisfaction because it was scratched and had a really bad odor, but I cleaned it and have had no issues with it.
