Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about High Road! The polyester packcloth fabric has a sealed, leakproof PVC lining that is actually part of the fabric body. The TrashStash's opening has a steel spring frame that keeps it open until you close it, as long as the frame is fully extended. I hope you found this information useful - Organizers of the High Road
The fabric is backed with a leakproof lining material, so it wasn't designed to hold a liner, but based on your question and customer feedback, we'll definitely consider a version with a removable liner. It can be left open if desired, but I prefer to hang mine over the passenger seat, and even when closed, I have no trouble opening and closing it one-handed from the driver's seat. br>I hope this information is useful!
When I'm driving, mine doesn't move. Mine has served me well.

This thing caught me off guard. I bought it for my car, but I've also used it in my buggy to keep empty cans off the trails when I'm off-roading. roading. br>br>I fell in love with the trails after a day on the trails and several empty and crushed cans. I like how the top can either stay open or close, preventing items from blowing out or being shaken out while traveling over rough terrain at high speeds. I noticed a large puddle of "refreshments" that had leaked out of the "empty" cans when I emptied it. NONE of it made it past the bag's seal. While I don't mind if it leaks in the buggy, it does bother me if it leaks in my cars. So the buggy was a great test, and I'm going to buy a few more to be able to stay in the rock donkey because I was so impressed with it. Good quality, appears to be long-lasting, and seemed to be a good value for the money.
When my partner bought his car, the dealer gave him one of these. I decided to get one because we have a dog who likes to raid the trash bag in the car, and the dog has had no luck getting into this bag. This is the same dog that ate the last bag in my car while I was filling up the gas tank. Despite the fact that both bags are installed in the same manner in both cars, the dog has managed to get into the bag I purchased from Amazon at least a dozen times, beginning just a few days after I installed it. My companion mistook me for someone who had left the bag open. However, we compared the two bags last week. His mouth was completely shut- no gap- It takes some effort to open, and it does so with some force. The two sides of mine don't match up, and there's a gap of about an inch at one end of the opening. Look at the image. It easily opens if you press down into the opening on that end. br>I wish we had done a comparison when I got this one. When I first saw it, I noticed that the frame was a little "skewed. " "I'm not sure if it happened during shipping or if there was an issue with quality control. I'm going to place another order and inspect it right away. I'll return it if there's a gap in the mechanism or if it doesn't appear to be perfectly aligned. However, when it works, it works exceptionally well.
We have an Odyssey minivan, so this has no effect on the back seat passenger's space, but I did see some people complain about it, so I'm guessing they have a small car. That hasn't been an issue for us. We really like how long it lasts. We've only had it for about a week, but it's already exceeded our expectations. We frequently have grandkids with us, and we prefer that our van remain spotless. They can now dispose of their garbage in a designated area. I use a grocery bag to line it, and it works great. When it's full, I simply remove the grocery bag, toss it, and replace it. There was no commotion. I really like how the spring closures make it easy to close with just one hand; I've been looking for something like this for a long time. EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT!.
It's so simple to get rid of whatever you want just by reaching behind the passenger seat! I like how simple it is to open and close. I purchased one for each of my vehicles, as well as one for my husband's. br>When the bag is full, simply dump it. There will be no more searching for empty cans that have rolled under the seats! 5 STARS! br>br> Love it! It also goes with my decor!.
Item is of poor quality. It was a gift for a friend's new car, which I purchased. There was, however, a hole in the bottom when we opened it. The product had a flaw. It appears that the two pieces are simply glued together. To me, it doesn't appear to be very sturdy. I'm going to send it back.
(However, I *DID* find a great one! This is a good car garbage bag, and I thought the snap open/snap shut mouth would be a nice feature, but that same feature means you can't actually fill the trash can or it won't close (as shown in the listing photo). This was one of three different car trash cans I bought in an attempt to find something that could be hung on the back of the front passenger seat (so that I could easily reach it while driving) but that the dog (in the back seat) couldn't get into. br>br>It's true that if I shut the door, the dog wouldn't be able to get in - but a) bringing it to a close one- It's difficult (and dangerous) to drive while holding a child. and b) as previously stated, closing it prevents it from being filled. br>br>Much to my surprise, of the three I tried (this one, this one, and this one), the one I liked the best was this one.
I purchased my first bottle of this product in June 2015 as I said it had been a great product for four years, but since my system did work, always opened and closed, let the trash run to its natural form, etc. When its on-working, this thing is absolutely fantastic.
In April of 2018, I purchased this item. It's now the end of July 2018, and it's still not holding up very well. br> It has torn where the strap and bag were sewn together. I tried to sew it back together, but even if you open the bag carefully, the slightest strain causes it to tear, and there is no way to repair it. It's a pity, because it appears to be a good, water-resistant trash bag. It's a good size, and it's exactly what I needed. Except it's already broken after three months.
