Our family's van (1998 van) does the same thing, hanging the bag over the passenger arm rest. However, now that I have a truck, there are no place to hang the bag because the arm rests are built right into the seat when the seats are Additionally the distance between the passenger and driver seats is too great for the headrest ideas to be useful. The idea of having a bag just hanging out there is not going to work for me so I will buy this bag. It would be better if it were bigger compared to grocery bags.
In fact, it stays in place even over the one piece WeatherTech Flaps on the side of the can help keep the lid in place.
The answer is yes. The flaps on both sides have points intended to grip the carpet. As of right now, we haven't tipped over it yet, and we've had it for a couple of months now in our 2016 Mazda CX9. Prior to purchasing this product, I did a lot of research and I believe it to be the best out there.
These are heavy plastics that remain stable for a long time. It had always been my goal to find sand-filled arms, but I never did. It performs well and I am very pleased with it.

The grocery bag hanging from the gear lever of my Chevy Silverado was really a bit tacky, so I bought this. Even though this garbage bin doesn't offer the same folksy aesthetic as say a Walmart bag smashed against the steering wheel, it is much easier to get to on the front floor, and it I give this a five-star rating.
This trash container is the right size for me. This garbage can works well with standard plastic grocery bags as liners. However, the trash can slides on the rear floor mat on carpeted floors, so I believe it might not work for carpeted floors. To get the floor mat to stick to the trash can, you need a sticky mat on the bottom of the trash can. It appears that the sliding issue can be fixed. I am currently trying to identify a solution. I am updating The sandbox sand is put in a zip-lock bag along with two cups of clean sand. Once that bag was in another ziploc bag, I placed it in a third bag. Taping the bags on the bottom of the bin and using black duck tape to make a false bottom, I used black duck tape to make a false bottom. Getting it to stay put and not topple over is now possible. Bags from the grocery store can be used as liners, and I wrap a rubber band around the exterior so it does not fall off. I had to work hard to create a really fine car waste basket, but now I have one.
The package I got for my new Mercedes SUV didn't seem to have an inconspicuous place where I can place an inconspicuous trash can. I need one in my car right now, but I am lost without once had a plastic one that fit between my two front seats in my former vehicle, but that wouldn't fit in my new one. I spotted it on Amazon and thought it would be the perfect bin to sit on the hump of the floor in the rear. Now's the time to get excited! The answer is yes. There are little spikes on the two flaps on each side to keep it in place on the carpet, and it will never slip. It's so easy for me to pop trash into it from either the driver's side or the passenger side of the front seat because I can reach behind me. Besides being the perfect size, it is also easy to assemble.
The link to this garbage can came from a customer who saw my negative review of a similar garbage can that was too small on Amazon. This is such a good thing for him! There is no better size can for a car than this one. It is part of my Rav 4 and I use it to change the oil. Standing very stable on the floor of the passenger area, it is very easy to operate. In this bag I put a waste basket sized plastic bag, and there is plenty of room for trash. I've seen it all, starting with Starbucks cups and ending with.
The size is ideal, it fits well, and it stays in place. I have to say, this thing is awesome. The problem with trash solutions is that they are hard to find. I prefer the one that hangs from the seat back because clipping and straps are unnecessary, whereas the one that hangs at the front is good in concept but hangs in the face of back seat passengers. There is a lot in there, so you take it out, put it in, and throw The device works fine in a Lincoln MKX that almost doesn't have a hump and in a Honda Fit that has a big hump. Having the right size is necessary, any bigger and it would block the rear vents and also encroach upon the feet I'm surprised at how much stuff it can hold! There were a crumpled Wendy's bag, taco bell cup, McDonald's cup, Starbucks glass bottle, wrappers, kid wipes, napkins, and an altoid tin in there when I tossed it out The total number of fast foods is quite large. Judgment should not be applied. The car seat makes it easy for my daughter to throw things in it, and the front of the car is a convenient reach for me and my wife. Additionally, she stays in the same place. My foot wells on the passenger side will no longer be littered with trash!.
It's so nice to see trash cans like this one. There are flaps on each side of the can, designed to keep the can from falling In terms of the size of the can itself, it's not too big, nor is it too small. The device is also compact and requires little space. If the passenger puts the can at his or her feet, he or she can still sit comfortably. There is no doubt that this trash can is sturdy and is able to be cleaned. As well as being very nice-looking, it is very practical.
In my experience, the unit holds well to a center hump, though I had to trim the "wings" slightly and devise another method for keeping it in place for one of my cars. Rather than a flaw in the trash bin, this was caused by the design of the car's center hump. As a matter of fact, the second one I purchased worked perfectly in my second vehicle without modification. Even though it is not huge, this unit is big enough, especially if you don't leave it festering with debris for weeks at a time. You should also be aware that standard grocery bags cannot be used as liners for this machine. You can nevertheless quickly and easily tie the four corners of an ordinary grocery bag so that it will fit snugly in a bin. I was able to do this in under a minute.
