Her medications have to be kept refrigerated. We've been using ice and ice packs for a long time. It's never easy to keep our medications and food from getting wet. br>br>This Setpower refrigerator/freezer is in excellent condition. When the compressor and fan are running, you can hear them, but they aren't loud, and they use very little power. It quickly cools down. It's fantastic! br>br>.

I just beat the crap out of it for a week off the grid, and it worked out better than I had anticipated. There are no issues with low voltage cutout or any other issues that have been mentioned in other reviews. We'd leave it plugged in while driving and then use a jackery 240 to keep it going overnight at camp. There's nothing like a cold beer in the middle of the desert, and we discovered that if you load pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre Frozen food on the bottom tends to fool the internal temperature sensor, resulting in items on the top being warmer than desired. We were able to find the sweet spot for temperature settings thanks to a cheap little fridge thermometer that was zip tied to the basket. For the upper part of the fridge, the digital temperature display isn't very accurate. Running all night with only 30-minutes of power is extremely efficient. 40% of the jackery capacity is in eco mode of the jackery capacity is in eco mode of% If we filled it with warm beer or other items before going to bed, we'd use up almost the entire jackery capacity overnight. Update: Following a service inquiry, we were contacted by the manufacturer and asked if we could receive a replacement unit. They communicated with us to determine the problem before dispatching a replacement from California. It arrived in four days, and we immediately put it to the test. br>br>I'm very impressed with the unit; it keeps our meat and vegetables frozen by maintaining a temperature of 0 degrees on both our truck battery and solar battery bank. We even put ice blocks in our cooler and it freezes solid pretty quickly; we'll see how the battery life is since we haven't had it on the bank for more than 12 hours. br>br>We just received our product and are having some issues right away. When the vehicle is turned off or when the solar battery bank is full, the unit will not run. We get an e1 error code, and the manual has a section about electronic control (auto low battery shut down) in poor English, but no instructions on how to adjust between low, medium, and high. It isn't supposed to cut off until 12 a. m. , even on the highest setting. Our solar system is much larger than that, at a factor of four. br>Switching between f/c is also supposed to be a simple hold down. This, however, is ineffective.

Not as loud as the more expensive Norcold and Dometic units with a Danfoss compressor, but louder than the less expensive Norcold and Dometic units with a Danfoss compressor. There are two speeds available: high and medium. low/affordable. It's not as efficient as the Danfoss because it's not variable speed. 2) The battery protection level choices are too low - I almost always run it on low and have had no problems. Only one is higher than the cut-off voltage of 11 volts. out. One of them has a voltage of less than ten volts. 3) The battery protection is extremely basic - There is no lag in this. When you plug it into a car and turn it on, the unit will malfunction if the voltage drops suddenly. It will reset after about 30 seconds, but it took me a while to notice. Even so, it's not perfect. However, for the price, I am extremely pleased. All of the features are not covered in the manual.

It's been turned on for the first time. All three adaptors must be connected to the ca in the house for it to work. On the fridge, a single ac outlet would have been ideal. I'm checking right now to see how long I can keep it at 25 degrees in order to freeze my coolies. It only took 20 minutes for it to cool to the desired temperature. It was much quieter when I started it in my truck. Noise can be reduced by using the economy mode. An error is always detected by the 12 volt power supply. Fortunately, my Ram truck has a 110vlt plug. As a result, I'm going to hold on to it. If it had worked on 12vlts, I would have given it a four-star rating. One advantage is that it cools quickly, and it is actually cooler inside than the display indicates!.
