The cover fits snugly, but not too tightly. This is a snap-in concept that won't loosen over time. On the tabs that hold the cover open by the back door, and that hook in with felt bumpers or tape, there are even felt bumpers. When operating the cover, I take care not to scratch the car. According to the description, the cover fits my vehicle perfectly. Only thing that I don't like about it is that there is about a 2 inch gap between the back seat and the place where the cover sits. To fill this gap on the back seat, I would have liked the option of a flap attached to the back seat that I could choose to or not attach.
