Compared to OEM models, this product had great reviews and was about half the price. It was a roll of the dice and I'm glad I did it. It is constructed of lightweight material that installs in just a minute or two, and it can transform your spare back seat into a box for storing clothing, sports equipment, and more. My AR15, my 30-round magnum, and my 30-round rifle were with me within minutes I have both a spotting scope and a deer rifle that I use for hunting, as well as all the other items I use to get the job done. Among the equipment that would be helpful are a distance finder, multiple magazines, boxes of ammo, knives, towels, tow straps, etc. There is still a large compartment in which I can store a small safety crash box (needed for the construction) as well as other items like compasses etc. Don't think about it, just do it. You'll be so glad to have done it.
My truck's back is completely cleaned out and there is now a lot of room. No more crap, tools, or stuff sliding around in there. I'm impressed with the quality of this product, it is not cheap in any way.
The rims went right on my cab of my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab today. The straps that came with it were to hold it in but I chose not to use them since it seemed to stay in place quite well by itself. The compartment is rugged, which is the perfect spot for keeping all my cables, ratchets, and tow ropes. Five out of five stars.
In a nutshell Great customer service and a great product. Delivery in the package was a bit rough, so the box wasn't in great condition. Holidays are a time when this occurs especially. In spite of those problems, the item itself was perfect. There are no scratches at all. The small piece we were missing in the installation turned out to be the culprit. In my communication with the company, I found the customer service representative to be great. We were provided with a whole set of backups, just in case! It's a product you shouldn't miss out on.
This is going to work very well, in my opinion. This part fits the 2011 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab just fine. I like how neat the ties are. The cable release is easy to remove to get it clean. Is strong enough to withstand the use we will put it to. It has plenty of space for storing a lot of things so that items will not roll around the floorboard.
However, I would not consider it worth $100 even though it is sturdy well built and is an addition to my storage. A 50-word summary It would be more accurate to say 60.
