Concerned about mounting it to the seat, I bolted it to the seat mounts. On my brand new 2016 Silverado, I didn't want to remove the bolts that hold the seat frame in place. It's du- The manufacturer has thought through this product, and I was able to eliminate the requirement to take nuts off by simply adding two nuts to the package. It only took me less than a minute to install the brackets with a 3/4" socket. The bracket is placed on the threaded bolt, then the nut is placed on top, and the bolt is tightened. There is no room loss in the fit. I was worried I would lose space, but there is no such problem. There are a lot of emergency supplies under my seat (blanket, 3 medical kits, fire extinguisher, air pump, and This made it easy to organize everything and actually made my office more spacious since I no longer have to worry about things sliding out. A storage unit that is in the same quality and assurance that I expect from HA. My first storage unit was attached to my 2011 Silverado, which Fit is just right, and there are straps that hold the unit in place well. In contrast to the Husky storage unit, I purchased this one from a different brand as it was too flimsy to use (I attempted to use another brand's storage unit first and had to return it due to its lack of durability). The DU must be paid I think it is worth the money in the long run to pay HA premium. There is a difference between what they show and what you receive. There is no way to get all of the items shown in the photo and item list. Amazon needs to update these. On top of that, there are only two rifle insert supports across, no long piece dividing the storage down the center. If you upgrade to the DU-II, you get the long piece of support that divides the storage lengthwise. When you visit the HA site, you will find all the items you would see on Amazon, but it would cost more than Consequently, I believe that you would need to pay more to obtain that center support divider. If you want the DU- just buy it I'll tell you what you need directly from DU - Despite Amazon's low prices, what you get is a solid under seat storage product that will stand the test of time. It is easy to install, too, since all the equipment is already there. I think two shotguns would be a good fit. A 2018 Chevy Silverado crew cab is equipped with this product. These mats fit very nicely with the WeatherTech full coverage floor mats, as you can see in the pictures. I feel that the product is very sturdy, and it should be able to last for years without any problems. The time it took me to locate the correct socket in my garage outweighed the time it took me to install the part Installation is very simple, and you can do it by yourself if you have a tool set or wrench.
