Someone created a product to allow us to have more storage in our jeeps, and it's really cool. And if you have a passenger with a cellphone or wallet and no other place to put it, this comes in handy. Great product, highly recommended. I'm glad someone thought of all the different ways to use space.

The product is a perfect fit for the space. At first glance, it's difficult to tell that the product exists. It doesn't move, shift, or make any noise, and it fits snugly but easily removes for cleaning or returning the grab handle to its original function (off-road use). A phone, as well as other slender or small items, will easily fit inside. I'm glad I bought this because it provides me with additional storage space for miscellaneous items. However, it isn't permanent, so I can remove it if necessary.

For my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, the extra storage space is fantastic. Too narrow for eyeglasses, but ideal for most cell phones, keys, and a variety of other knickknacks that would otherwise take up valuable space in your cup holders. Plastic is extremely durable and not at all flimsy. This storage tray is small and inconspicuous, but it is functional and does not obstruct the glove box door. br>Recent changes: I've primarily used it to store receipts until I get home and can file them.

This is a brilliant idea for converting that narrow space into a phone holder or whatever else you need to fit in there. It's a tight fit. However, it isn't quite perfect, and the tray could use a little more polish in this area. It’t’t’t’t’t’t slide 100% down into the available open space. The edges appear to protrude slightly, and forcing them down to flush with the tray would only crack or damage it. Furthermore, because there is a handlebar for people to grab and hold onto in the event that the ride is "bumpy/off-road," road" perhaps a new design would have the tray recessed below the handlebar, allowing fingers to grip the handlebar while still gripping it; However, the tray has sufficient depth to accommodate the phone and other items. It's just a thought, but I'd like to keep the safety feature that the handlebar can sometimes provide. br>br>Perhaps my tray wasn't cut to specifications from the factory. I gave it four stars because it works and I like the concept. If it sat flush, I'd give it a five.
