Dear Sir or Madam, thank you for asking this Do you have any hooks on the back of your van? You can pivot the end of the clothes bar so that it hangs from a hook if necessary The two ways the bar will attach can be seen in the images on the page if you scroll down all the images. It is my hope that this helps. Organizers on the High Road, Kim
Thank you so much for your interest in the High Road Clothes Bar, Cheryl. It's strong too, as other respondents have said. Our clothes bar was weight tested so that it can hold 35 pounds. This is the length of the umbrella when fully expanded. Up to 50 pounds can be supported by shorter lengths. Here is some information I hope you will find useful. Thank you, Kim @ High Road Organizers, for helping us make your driving safer
Thank you very much for asking this There is a diameter of 1 inch on the end caps of the clothes bar. There are 25" grommets, but the diameter of the hanging hooks at the ends is 2", so it is difficult to get the grommets over the It is my hope that this helps. Organizers of the High Road
Thank you very much for asking this Its length ranges from 35 to 59". It really should fit as the length reaches 35 to 59". If your vehicle has grab handles both along sides of the rear seat over the windows, or a garment hook, this should allow you to adjust it to fit. I hope this helps. Group of High Road Organizers Kim

A picture of my setup can be seen here. I attached my curtain rod to the handles in the front doors of my Toyota Sienna to use as a curtain rod. A number of zip-lock bags were used A ligature connects the metal end hooks of the bar to the handles of the Sienna so the clothes bar will stay put. We have made it rock solid now. You can get these items to go along with the clothes bar on Amazon for those who do stealth car camping The Conovo Blackout Curtains Room Darkening Thermal Insulated Curtain Panels Grommet for Living Room, 38 x 45 Inch 2 Panels, Perfect length for a living room - Black are insulated panels with a blackout filter. A little bit touches the ground. 20 Pack 3 inch Silver Circular Shower Curtain Ring Loops for Drape, Bathroom, Home Decor (76 mm) - Ideal for lots of extra large books, loose leaf binder rings, easy to open and close, easy to install - Excellent gift. These curtain rings can be used to hang curtains It easily goes around the rubberized portion of the clothes bar as well as through the grommets on As I sewed together the panels, I finished the tops. Velcro was sewed along the furthermost ends of the bag, and the opposing velcro was stuck to When you press the velcro together, you restrict light from passing through the edges of the curtain.
As soon as we loaded the rod with dry-fired rods, we realized that this was the case Putting clothes in the washer In the middle of the drive, the end cap/hook popped off and scratched our leather seat. I have attached a few pictures for your reference.
These were a lifesaver when I was moving recently. I moved with my girlfriend approximately 20 miles away, and we were faced with the task of moving all As a result, we did not want to take all of our hanging clothes down, fold them, pack them, move them, and then have to unpack them again after such a short move, and the wardrobe boxed from U-Haul seemed a bit of a hassle The cost of a truckload of Hauls is too high for a short duration of time. With these clothes bars, we were able to move our clothes one car-load at a time. It is better to load one page at a time. We are setting a high bar, and it is A quality product. I used it on her car because it has hooks and hers has handles, and it worked fine You will probably have trouble with your hooks and handles first before you have any problem with the amount of weight this thing can handle. We loaded as many hangers as we could onto this thing and carried it right into our new home instead of removing them that these will be very useful for movers in the future, or for any trips where we need to bring hanging clothes.
What a great idea - I love it! It is the most sturdy one I have found so far badly made plastic - don't even attempt to use it It almost made me send it back due to the death smell. It was suggested that I wrap it tightly in black and white newspaper by a friend Does the best job of absorbing The smell from it was extremely offensive to my condo, so I left it outside as well. I had my clothes holder for my car in two weeks and two changes of newspaper. (The paper trick does the trick on old smelly refrigerators and coolers as well! It's just a wad up and stuff it in there, not really bad you need to change it out as the paper is the most absorbent).
A friend of mine and I attend a huge herb festival that has a lot of plants, flowers, and other items. It was used for our hanging baskets only, in order to have more space for our other goodies in the vehicle! There is it. The truth. Hands down, one of the best purchases for my intent. (Along with our foldable wagon for all of our goodies).
As a result of being so busy and burned out with shopping and the holidays, I have yet to contact anyone about the missing bar. Eight of these were given to friends and family for Christmas. Those on the High Road are very lucky to have a clothing bar like this. In this case, the craftsmanship is of the highest quality as is the material. Since the end hooks are flexible, it can adapt to any vehicle design, which makes them better than just great. A good one should be in every home, and especially in every college student's dorm room. Over the last 30 years, I have owned a similar one and have used it countless times for moves, long distance car travel, and special occasions - like weddings - when I didn't want my clothes to wrinkle. Its storage is not friendly, so I will mention that. This is because the area has two seasons, it's spring and summer Because it is a part design, lifting it from the "wrong" end disassembles it. My suggestion is to buy or order a 36" x 3" mailing tube with end caps at the same time. The mobile clothes bar I have described is perfect in my opinion. It is highly recommended and very well received as a gift. Once I have sung, I know what the song means. Despite the well-deserved praise, a word of caution is in order. When the marvelous clothes bar is opened for the first time, it smells awful. There is a real foul smell coming from the My first order did little to diminish the problem after being exposed to the open air for almost a month. A smelly thing would be the last thing I'd want to hang my clothes on Also, it's unlikely anyone who drives with such a smell could remain in the car for long. My exaggeration isn't as big as it should be. That's not the case for me. To go along with each of the 8 bars I presented as gifts, I bought a can of Fabreeze. As well as being a cute present, I found out on Christmas Eve that dryer sheets and Fabreeze seemed to solve my Thankfully the rubber smell will not be a permanent deterrent to what is otherwise a superb product. Just don't plan on using it on the first day Taking it out of the plastic sleeve and letting it air out with the help of scented products will help. Almost perfect. (Would have gotten 5 stars if we didn't have.
Nothing to worry about in terms of I'm moving to a house that's 1000 miles away, and this time I'm bringing my own It's loaded with half my closet (okay, There will be multiple trips), including heavy winter coats, suits, and everything else. Not a single problem during 1000 miles driven in two days. This is a highly recommended product.
