There are no reviews on Amazon or the Bell website, but I have loaded it up with clothes more than halfway full, for extended periods, and didn't have issues. Others have complained about the plastic hooks (on the bar) breaking, however, I have and will continue to do so. Since you will use the metal rings to suspend the bar from these hooks, you should be okay if you have them in your car. I hang my bar from plastic hooks on the bar since I have only handles to hang it from (like me), so I often get complaints about the plastic hooks on the bar. This is another experience I have not discussed. This may be of some help to you.
If your car has two hooks on each side of the roof, this rod can fit in your car, as long as you have one hanging hook on each side. This is a very heavy duty rod that can be used to carry your clothes

It contains both loops and hoops on the ends, so if you're looking for a stick with hoops on the ends, this is it. It was as easy as hooking up the far hoop to its hook and the near one to its hook for installation. My overall time to open the box, remove the plastic bag, and connect all the wires was less than two minutes. No rocket science here (even though I have a college degree in the field). The last time I installed it, there was a few hangers with clothes on it, and so far today, it has not fallen over. This is a good heavy duty cloths bar. In my opinion, if you were to hang it from the plastic clothes hooks found in most cars, the plastic hooks would break before the hefty metal loops would. In addition, the bar can be mounted on the handle of the passenger assistance system by using the black hangers on the ends of the bar. It is probably at least as strong as the assistance handles in a car. They are made from reinforced plastic. A thick gauge of steel is used in making the bar. I'm glad I did not remove the aluminum clothes bar I traded in from my car when I traded this in as it is so much better than the aluminum clothes bar I previously had. I think this is the perfect one for both our little Cs A hybrid model like the Max and an SUV like the Grand Cherokee. Only one small drawback is that the rubber grips cover only a portion of the bar when it is extended to fit, which is not ideal, since we normally hang our clothes on both sides and prefer an unobstructed view when we hang in the back. The bare end of the pipe could be covered with a piece of black foam pipe insulation purchased at the hardware store, cut to length, and slipped over.
