I bought this car phone mount for my wife a few months ago, and there has been one minor issue and one major issue. The only minor issue was that when the phone was properly installed, the angle of the phone was extremely poor. To get the angle correct, I had to shim the mounting arm a lot. I thought I was good to go after resolving the minor issue, but my wife recently informed me that the phone clamping device had failed. After disassembling the device, I discovered that three of the four plastic posts that held the springs were broken, indicating that the design was poor and cheap. I had to do it myself because my return period had expired. By replacing the plastic posts with metal posts, I was able to solve the problem. This was a real pain in the neck. At the factory, metal posts, in my opinion, should be used. Don't buy this car phone mount unless you are an expert at fixing things.

It's not looking good. They appear to have nailed the tricky parts. It has a nice appearance and a good fit. The phone appears to be brand new, but it does not swivel down very far. The screen is not aimed at me, but rather at the ceiling. To see the screen, I have to stretch upwards. I'd prefer to just keep my phone in my hand. It appears that they made a mistake with the fundamentals.

The phone angle is stupid right out of the box, and all you see is my hood. I pressed return and began repackaging it, thinking about how much I liked the design and appearance of it. sooo. I fixed it the American way, by paying for it! I loosened the mount and angled it forward by placing about 8 7 pennies beneath it before tightening it again. The arms barely fit my Note 10 Plus with case on it, but they manage to keep it in place. The new angle is pretty cool; I might add one more later, but for now, I'm satisfied with it. The only drawback is that the screw cover doesn t fit 100% correctly now that the arm is tilted more, but it clips on and you won never notice. I guess we.

br>br>My solution was to use an existing phone holder with a quick release button and the ability to tilt the phone down for a straight-on view. The ball mount is fairly standard, so you might be able to find something that works better or even an extension to help you position it better. For an unfinished product, $32 seems a little high.

twice. . in a year and a half It's been less than a year since I bought this item. For a few months, it worked perfectly, but then it broke down. I contacted the seller, and they replaced it right away. It worked fine for a few more months before snapping off. I contacted the seller again two weeks ago, but no response has been received. This mount isn't going to take a lot of abuse because I'm a fairly casual Jeep driver. It appears that it needs to be re-written. Designed to withstand everyday use. I'm disappointed that the seller has given me no response. I would recommend buying from a more reputable seller.

As the title implies, this isn't a tablet app. The insert is nice, but the phone holder is a little too shallow for my phone. My phone will stay with me, but it isn't the safest option, especially when traveling through rough terrain. I have a phone with a 6" screen, so if you have a larger phone, this might not be the best option for you, but for a smaller phone, it's a good choice.

This item performs admirably. My only recommendation is that you include instructions with the product; I had to look up installation instructions on YouTube.

It's incredibly simple to set up. The phone holder is currently very tight, so getting my phone in and out takes some effort, but once it's in, it doesn't move! Although the phone tilts back slightly more than I prefer, it is still usable. I would purchase this item again.
