I JUST MEASURED IT AND IT MEASURES 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 x 1 INCHES.
This is the second time I've had a similar experience. In my car, heat has never been an issue for me. The CDs are protected by a hard outer shell.
It's possible that the DVD title page will have to be folded. A standard disc can be inserted into the sleeves.
No, it's not the case. A zipper opens and closes the case, but none of the zippers are waterproof.

I tried both this and Case Logic's "heavy duty" version, and I think I'd prefer this one if the corners didn't get in the way of the zipper if I wasn't careful. br>br>This model's fabric outer coating makes it easier to hold without "slippage," and it's slightly thinner and lighter than the heavy duty model. The case isn't completely rigid, but it's sturdy enough to protect my discs adequately. The only flaw is that the corners are a little too rounded for the square disc sleeves inside (only the two corners closest to the spine are angled to compensate), which is made worse by the fact that the pages were not put in perfectly straight in the item I received. Because I don't trust myself to remember to tuck the disc sleeves in before zipping, I'm returning it and keeping the heavy-duty model instead, so I won't have to worry about catching the corners in the zipper.
I still enjoy listening to CDs in my car, but when they began to stack up and no longer fit in the center console, it was time to invest in a storage case. This case is fantastic and compact; each sleeve can hold only one CD. I also like to include the album art on the sleeve, but a CD and album art on both sides of the sleeve would be too large. Apart from that, it's perfect, and the rhinestones are a personal touch.
In the past, I purchased a camera case from Case Logic that is now over 8 years old and still works flawlessly. I bought this case to carry DVDs in when I travel. Because the sleeves are double-sided, each page can hold two CDs or DVDs. Because they are built in, this case cannot be refilled or expanded. If you want to organize your discs, you'll have to rearrange them. It holds 24 discs with ease. It zips shut tightly to keep dust and dirt out while protecting the discs. The case is also made of a stiff material, but it is not a hard sided case, so it provides additional protection against drops and other objects on top of it while remaining very light. The top has a loop that can be used to clip it to a bag or other object. The color is a dark navy blue (in Amazon's photo, it appears to be a little brighter). br>br>Overall, the quality and design are excellent.
My CDs wouldn't fit in my new car. I tried every available space in the car, but none of them worked for me. I had a feeling the Container Store would have exactly what I required. That was not the case. One of the clerks, however, recommended the "old fashioned" CD albums, which was very thoughtful. I went to Amazon, determined the number of CDs the album needed to hold, chose a color, and it arrived in two days. I filled it up and put it in my glove compartment, ready for my next road trip. Thank you, Amazon, and thank you, Container Store clerk.
Case Logic hasn't a single flaw! I've been using this company's products since the 1980s, and they never disappoint. Here's the lowdown: br>The case is well-made, and the zipper appears to be of good quality. The item is in a semi-finished state. For small falls, the rigid outer shell is a nice touch, but it won't withstand a throw from across the room. br>Interior has a lot of potential. To be honest, the sleeves are just a softer, felt-like backing to prevent scratches, but they appear to be well-made. br>I use mine to store gaming CDs, as well as my Skull Candy ear buds! br>In general- It's a good case that will last, and I'd recommend it for travel, around the house, and so on.
The molded shell protects the DVDs from being crushed, and it's the perfect size for my kids to flip through when they want to choose what to watch on a long car ride. Are you worried about your DVDs being left in the car's extreme hot/cold temperatures? You don't have to be, because this fits perfectly in my oversized purse as well as our backpack/diaper bag to bring inside with us when we get home! When we park the car, I simply toss it in my purse and take it out the next time I drive with the kids. I keep my CDs separate from the kids' movies in the second one, and they BOTH fit perfectly in my console with some room to spare.
It's where I keep my data discs when I'm traveling. br>It's light, but it's also strong. br>The shells are not particularly hard, but they are sufficient.
I wanted a small case that wouldn't hold too many CDs, so 24 CDs fit inside; the outside material is ok; it could be stiffer, but once all the CDs are in, it should be very rigid. However, it is a little bendy until it reaches full capacity. I also wish it had a better zipper; I'm having trouble opening and closing it, and it gets stuck every now and then; otherwise, it's a great little case. I also like that it comes in a variety of colors so you can tell which CDs you have stored.
