It is true. This console is in my regular cab Polaris Ranger Northstar 2017. I am sure the bench seat in front is the same as the one in the crew cab.
I think it will fit in your truck just fine. For my Ford F150, the plate just isn't big enough to fit in the seat well. The fact that it is well made and has the extra storage space makes it a worthwhile purchase.

The sale price of $60 shipped is a great deal, especially since it fits great and looks great. The Polaris Ranger Crew is equipped with this system.
The stock shifter was not compatible with the Chevy Colorado standard transmission. I rated the item as 5 stars even though I had to return it. My 2005 Chevy Colorado has a standard shift, which is unfortunately too big for me. It would have been great if it was automatic, but it's too long and I can't get it into second, fourth, or fifth gear. Reverse the sentence. A well made item that easily fits around the center seat belt with safety. It's a good idea to put your phone in the front behind the cup holders. There is enough room in the slot for the Iphone 6plus. There is something wrong with the cup holders, they are necked down. It might be okay for small fast food cups but would never fit my stainless steel double wall mugs (RTIC &ampampampampampampamp 30 oz) All in all, if it fits properly in your vehicle, it's a nice unit. Despite the height of the elbows being okay, it might be better if they were The height of my head is 5'8" Having said that, I found it to be a bit higher for me than it would have been if I was 11" and 200#.
