Nothing is on the bottom of the box. There's a little extra weight to the fabric. In front of the front seat, I have mine on the hump. I think the bottom of a ridgid bottle might slide around a bit more if it had a ridgid bottom. In the past couple of months, I bought a new car with leather seats. Having leather seats in a car is something I haven't experienced since I owned a '73 Cadillac Eldorado back in the 1970s. My memory is fuzzy, but I don't remember anyone sliding off the seats with just a touch on the breaks. Taking advantage of its space in the front passenger seat, I purchased this Lebogner Car Console Organizer so that I would have things handy. My cross is perfectly sized and I can store it in this bag It is a cube-shaped bag that can be carried around the body It's a tissue box shaped like a CD, and there's room for a batch One disadvantage is the Velcro strap on the back that is supposed to loop around the seat belt so it is held The organizer is not secured in place by the cord because it is too long and has too much slack. To go under the center console in the front seat of my 2014 Chevy Silverado, I bought this for the floor of the front seat.
