When I pass through lanes without passengers I face forward, and when I pass through lanes with passengers I face backward. Although it hangs with the weight of the items in the back seat, a passenger would have difficulty getting in the back seat with it facing backwards. Once a passenger is in the car, it can then be used to take out items.

I wasn't sure how big I would expect it to be but it is still big enough. A lot of compartments were used to make the bag. My husband always has work stuff all over his car, so I bought this for him As a result, I feel bad for the car because it will always appear so disheveled and uninviting. The organizer is actually a little smaller than I thought, since I thought it would be wider and a bit larger than the pictures show- I would describe the bag as a messenger bag for men. In all honesty, I was very disappointed by the organizer's size when I open the box. On the plus side, it does seem well-constructed. Making it easy to use, and I like that it works well with a wide and bigger bottle (such as a 48oz Nalgene or equivalent). A number of pockets were on the cover- It's a little tight on the mesh ones, but I expect they will relax and stretch over time. It's nice to be able to keep business cards like that, and you can stuff pens and things like that on there. A main compartment in this bag can hold an iPad and some paperwork, as well as other things such as an extra t-shirt If you have a cardigan, scarf, hat, or other accessories, you'd like to wear them with a shirt and shorts.
The idea is good, but the size is not right. The situation was ridiculous to me since I do not carry much stuff. The company should test a few of these items to make sure they work as expected. If you need a front seat carrier that holds some stuff, you should go to Duluth Trading.
This product is exactly what I needed to be able to store everything I need in my car. My car has always been a disaster for me since I have 5 grandsons who ride in it.
