The battery is already installed in the device; it is round and flat, about the size of a dime, and it is a CR2032. You can look up what it looks like on the internet, and you can buy them almost anywhere batteries are sold.
We haven't used these or similar keyless entry remotes in a while, but YouTube has step-by-step instructions on how to do so. Simply look up the keyless entry activation instructions for your specific make and model on YouTube. I hope it all goes well.

The only issue is that the batteries that come with them only last about a month and a half, and mine stopped working two days ago, so I had to replace them. If you need a remote to lock or unlock your vehicle, I would recommend this product. It was incredibly simple to set up; I simply turned my key to the on position eight times, pressed one of the remote's buttons eight times, and then turned the key off; it worked on the first try!.
I went to YouTube to find instructions for my vehicle, followed them, and set my key fobs up in no time. They were a fraction of the cost of a vehicle key. These fobs can also be detached from the key ring, allowing you to leave the car running, lock it, and return whenever you want.
Simply turn your ignition on and off eight times, then leave it on the eighth time. Your vehicle will automatically lock, and all you have to do now is press the remote control button. It's all predetermined! Have two? It'll program if you click the other one. It really is that simple. Both of them were successful!.
Good product; I replaced a three-year-old identical remote that was still functional but had been smashed in a door. br>There were no instructions, but I quickly found them online and was able to program two remotes in one attempt.
I had no trouble installing these and programming the remote using a YouTube video. FOR JUST ONE OF THESE FOBS, Advanced Auto and Auto Zone charged $44 and $49, respectively. What a fantastic deal for two people! Thanks.
