I had them work on mine, but they did not have the XL You should have a chart on the site showing which keys and remotes work with which car models.
There is a lithium coin cell battery size 2032 used in this device
I had a 2005 GMC Envoy and they worked much better than the originals. It should be the same, because it is Chevy's version.
This product includes instructions to cut the keys. I went to Ace Hardware and it cut the keys for free. Then the keys were ready to program, which is as simple as turning the key 3 or 4 times to turn on or off.

There is a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer in my driveway. Then I watched a YouTube video on basic ways to set up remotes so I knew what to do. It took just a few minutes for both fobs to unlock doors and lock. The process of getting new keys should be as easy as obtaining old ones. Amazon has yet again surpassed itself with a great find for trailblazers.
There was a key fob that hadn't quite been working for a while. For the last couple of months, it was necessary to keep a close eye on the driver. Although I had changed the battery, it did not help much. The one at the dealership is anything but reasonably priced, and the one I saw on this site seemed like it might be worth a shot since it is very reasonably priced. The device was not only inexpensive, but also extremely easy to program (about a minute) and works perfectly. This is a highly recommended book.
I am the only one who uses a key for my driver door. A few weeks ago, I found myself locked outside my truck at Wal-Mart There was no way to lock or unlock the door using Mart. Key. In the end, I was able to get in after hours of trying. As a result, I always had to keep the doors unlocked until my keyless remote was delivered. It took me less than 7 minutes to program them both. It is now safe for me to leave it unlocked or unlocked if I am out and about. It would be a wise decision to get one if you need This package includes batteries.
Normally, I do not write a 5-star review, but I needed a replacement fob for my 06 GMC Envoy. There is no difference in how many batteries I place in my FOB both of them would only work within 5 feet or not at all when put near my vehicle. Having looked for replacements on Amazon, I found these, but was not sure if they would work, and I'm happy to say that they did work. I had an easy time programming the FOB and only paid $4 for it. I had the keys cut for $100.
I had no problem programming these remotes for our 2005 GMC Envoy in minutes. The remotes are both functional and do what they should. We had the keys cut to match our current key and they are only slightly shorter than the ilco key that came with the vehicle, but they both work in the ignition and door of the vehicle. In addition, the ignition is pickier about the newly cut keys, which must be turned in a specific direction in order to work, but that is most likely a result of how they were cut, rather than a defect in the product. Although everything works well, the key is to make sure everything works.
It had been over a year since we had a fob before we purchased this set, and the key was becoming more and more difficult to turn Before I ordered a set of fobs from the manufacturer I purchased these as a last ditch effort. They would have been purchased a long time ago if I had known how easy it would be to program and how perfect they work. With the new set of two complete fobs, we are ready to go! It's a great purchase! I'm so happy with it!.
I spent my best $20 on this purchase -- long story but it was a great purchase The plug-in coil and battery were replaced after my Trailblazer was having trouble starting-after a change of the ignition switch, coil, and battery, the vehicle still didn't start- My truck has started up effortlessly on the first try ever since I activated my fobs, so that was a blessing for me! In the heat of the summer, especially since I didn't get key fobs with my truck, we purchased these to ensure that I could get access to my truck safely. Since the dealership wants $60 for them and no keys are included, $20 is way too good to be true
Well, the key fobs arrived the next day - thanks Prime! It's designed in less than 5 minutes, works like a charm, and requires minimal maintenance.
I received these today and had a local hardware store make me keys that work well on my 2005 GMC Envoy. After I came home, I attempted to program the remotes using instructions on the remotesremotes website. While I was able to program one remote to my vehicle, I could not program any further. I achieved one working remote, which is better than none, and I had a spare in case this one breaks. Repeating the process for the second remote would now cancel out the other remote, so I have one working remote.
