When I attempted to install the sliding door lock, I discovered that if your sliding door has a window, an attachment is required. It wasn't a big deal because it can be purchased from the slide locks official website, but it was an annoyance because nothing on this amazon page mentioned anything about it, and I proceeded to install the mounts on the back doors in the meantime, only to discover that the mounts I received do not fit my back doors. A few millimeters separate the mounting holes on the plates, causing them to be misaligned. The only way the lock would fit was if I slightly ajar the door, which is a terrible compromise for a lock. These will be sent back to you.
I liked how sleek and strong they looked. br>However, it would be nice if there was a bracket to hold the lock in place when it wasn't in use. When it isn't in use, it simply moves around the van.
It is simple to put together. High-quality construction and design.
My work truck tools will no longer be stolen by illegals, criminals, or welfare leeches.
I got the lock and it said Chevy van come on. I figured it was just the naming, so I tried it and it didn't work, and now it won't let me return it.
This is a must-have if you have a Work Service Van. After having my work van stolen and all of my work tools stolen, I purchased these locks and installed them on my Work Van, along with a Club on the steering wheel. I gave my company the receipts so that they could be reimbursed. They're simple to use and can be customized to fit a variety of vans. You must first choose your van and then order the appropriate kit and set. It took me about an hour to set up both locks.
On my 1999 Ford E350, it was the perfect fit.
You won't have to drill a hole in your van if things go well.
