That's something I've heard before, but I'm not sure what it means. There are two locks that we use. One is for the steering wheel, and the other is for the steering wheel that is connected to the foot pedal. I was hoping that the task of breaking two locks would be enough to deter them.

You should be fine if you compress the two ends together. It works well for me; all you have to do now is get used to it.

It appears to be well made, and the length can be adjusted to fit my Class A motorhome. A combo lock is preferable to a keyed lock for me. Keyed locks are more easily picked, and keys are more easily misplaced. It's also very simple to switch up the combination. Of course, any anti-abortion campaign will be met with fierce opposition. If a thief wants your car badly enough, a theft device can be defeated, but deterrents are better than doing nothing.
I just received this item, and it arrived quickly. It's simple to program a 5-digit cylinder combination lock. However, the lock is inexpensive to build. The thickness of the lock shaft is approximately 5/8". Thieves could saw through a rigid shaft much more quickly than they could pick a lock. In any case, combining this with an audible alarm will cause them to slow down long enough for you to react.
I don't like this product because it doesn't work for me and I feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick. br>I followed the instructions to set my code, but now I am unable to unlock or reset it, and the link Amazon sent me to contact them is ineffective.
Great product, but it didn't work for our RAM truck because the dash panel rides low and tucks under the dash, making it impossible to reach the brake pedal. MOPARS part tucking panels have excellent engineering, but the security device will not function in this case.
So far, so good; I like the product; it appears to be strong, simple to use, and a good deterrent.
It is simple to change the factory. Set the code, and then set the code for yourself. It's something I use on a daily basis, and I can lock/unlock it quickly and easily.
Leaving my car in Juarez gives me peace of mind.
