I just ordered it. The program was written by me. There was no need for Instead, I found a YouTube video that showed me how to program it. It is cheaper to go through this route instead of.
Using this fob, I can make my 2017 Cruze keys function exactly as they used to. According to the Cruze operator manual, I had the Cruze working in 30 minutes by following the programming instructions. - Everything is in working order I had the key cut at Ace Hardware for $5 and it had the door locks and trunk unlocks, remote start, emergency, and keyless entry/start. The dealer was going to charge me $380 for the fob I replaced for less than $45 instead of just $45.
I had to return the lock because I didn't realize the key inside has to be laser cut at a different we dealer and most of these keys are too large to fit within the lock, in addition to having to be programmed by an expert. I googled how to program my car's key fob, and it states you need to put your key in the lock to program it, and I was told that this could lock the car and it will have to be towed to an automotive shop for a new key. All in all, just a messed up deal. The fobs I purchased could have been more useful had I known more about them.
By using just two original keys, I was able to program it myself in less than two minutes. With the 2ng Gen Cruze it should work with up to 8 keys at the same time. The buttons all worked as they should. There is a slight difference between these buttons and the original. This might be due to use or aging of the original key fob. To have this key cut by a 'sidewinder' machine, I had to drive a distance, and was spent less than half the original price of the key. As a whole, the range is almost as good as my OEM key fob at In conclusion, my 2018 Cruze gets a 5/5 for the moment. Differences between the two are only apparent in the In the case of requiring or wanting the OEM back cover, you might need to purchase it separately. I just wanted to let you know that the key I got is only plain on the back which is fine. I think the price is too good when you compare it to other quotes I been receiving for the same key for $180 up front. You can save a lot of money if you get another key by 1) reading the manual and programming it 2) finding a hardware store and/or locksmith to make it 3) learning the hard way.
The remote works, but the physical key part needs to be fitted by a dealer as it has not been cut. Using only the two remotes in your possession, including one with a key that fits the door, is not a big deal unless you've lost all your other remotes. You should have at least two of them, including one with the correct key, to program.
If they worked and pair up fine, I'd give them 5 stars, but only if they were easy to install and could be placed near the center console for it to work. They do work, though, and they are a great price for an extra set.
It only unlocks and locks All three other features of the tool A correct pairing was achieved for all pairs.
I found the key fob shell to be easy to install. As far as the purchase, it worked the first time. My car is a Chevrolet Cruz 201, and it was delivered very quickly. I will contact you after several months to let you know how long it lasted.
