According to the picture attached I assumed it was the same one that I bought All parts of the item are working properly. The seller also includes easy-to-follow instructions. This is a great purchase you won't regret. As a safety precaution, I'm keeping the old remote in the ash tray just in case I lose the new one or I need it when my wife drives the truck. There is no lock on the door just a key. There are times when you need a remote control. Because I locked the door to keep her safe when I went to the store to run into a store, the alarm went off. However, when I returned, she unlocked the door for me from inside, so the alarm went off again. For the alarm to be stopped, you must use the remote. I tested it on my '02 Tahoe and it worked. Obviously, Tahoe and silverado use the same manual, so I don't know if this would work but it does make sense.

I guess I would say that this is an update. The 2002 Tahoe of my wife worked perfectly with it. I will purchase this unit again because I found the programming to be easy and straightforward. I find it to be a satisfactory replacement although it is not quite as well made as the original. Up to date My wife's Tahoe originally had this unit. I purchased it for the Tahoe on 12/30/15. Although she is not delicate when it comes to keys, she is not hard to trust. Tosses them on the counter or drops them in the parking lot quite a bit. Nevertheless, the more you use the fob, the more useful it becomes. Therefore, I bought a second one. The more easily it fell apart, the more easily it fell apart. The units just don't want to stay together, no matter what I do. A few weeks ago this happened again, and I remembered what I did. Those units that had malfunctioned, I kept, along with the older, original units. In order to use the original shell with the newer insides of these fobs, I had to use the original shell with the original insides. That seemed to work. As for the internal workings, these units are virtually identical to those of their older, original counterparts. It is not as easy to replace the older units as it is to replace a new one. Due to the fact that I kept the older units, I managed to find a satisfactory option. In the absence of the originals, I would not recommend anyone using these. The two of them aren't going to be together forever. Finding a different, more durable option would be a better choice.
The BT fob, as well as another (black, but otherwise identical) fob, were both purchased from World Wide Remotes, fulfilled through Amazon, and I am very satisfied with the purchase. Since it has been installed nearly 4 years ago, it has worked flawlessly! Although it has been dropped, banged, and had things perched on top of it, it continues to function as if it were brand This has been all over my house so much that the print on the buttons is all gone. I had to replace the battery one time, maybe twice. It's been so much use that the print is I think it is just a faulty battery, since it started acting up today. As soon as I realized I missed the labeling on the buttons, I decided to find out how much a new one would cost. Having bought the book 4 years ago, it is $1 more than it was then, but I believe it is well worth the money. It's just a matter of hoping the new one functions equally well as this one.

The spare fob I had worked, so I wanted to have a second one. As far as I can tell, I received my one plus a spare, but since I actually paid the same amount for the same product, albeit a different color, from the same folks a week ago, I assumed I received two. With my 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, the program was incredibly easy to use. Once you have downloaded the instructions, read them through first so that you understand the simple steps and I was able to program my remote control key fob in under 20 seconds. The key fob I have had for the past year has not malfunctioned once. I have dropped it multiple times. Purchased this key fob once before and will continue to do so. The fact that they come in different colors is a plus for me! I love it!.
Upon opening the package, I walked to the car and opened the door with my The driver closed the door, placed the key in the ignition, turned the ignition off and on twice within fast succession while activating the unlock door switch (pressing it). Observing the difference between original and current equipment, I noticed it's not as effective as it used to be. Perhaps the battery is not as strong as it should be. As long as the price difference is acceptable, I'm okay with it.
I was so frustrated with my old remotes that I can't even express all my frustration. There is nothing worse than walking up to the door and yanking on the handle only to find the lock is still locked. I love it! It would have been better to have bought these They have a YouTube video showing how to setup the system, which is great.
