There is a Raven 07 in my possession.
I'm very pleased with it.
Prior to starting to shrill, the alarm counts down a few beeps. When you're fidgeting with the key, it's raining, or your lock is in an awkward place on your brake disc and another car is next to you, it's easy to panic, and your anxiety over the countdown beeps makes it When I tried opening it to simply unlock it, I had the alarm go off a couple of times. The spring loaded lock is supposed to do that, but if you make it easier to lock and unlock, or if you have a smart device that remotely disarms the lock, then the lock can be removed easily without taking up a lot of time. I was expecting it to be louder, but it's not as loud as I had expected. In my opinion, the volume should be raised by about five or ten decibels.
It has greatly improved the riding experience on my Indian Scout Bobber. There is a heavy and solid single piece of metal in the lock, and the alarm pierces through it. Nonetheless, it is still small enough to pack away in a saddlebag or backpack with ease. You learn quickly just how many people (used to) like to touch your bike and look at it when you can hear the alarm ring from a quarter mile By doing this, the hands are kept away. My recommendation is to definitely try it.
There would be so much more power if there was an 'arm/disarm' option available. There is no way I can even set an alarm with it. In the case of a disc that has been removed from a motorcycle, the alarm is set off by any movement. Despite being near impossible to turn the thing on and off without setting off the alarm, the thing will always go off. As I have to be at work early, I will not annoy my neighbors by setting off the disk alarm at 6am when I attempt to remove the disk from the bike. I would be extremely upset if I were subjected to this.
The product has only been in my possession for a few months. Since I've had it for a year, I have armed and disarmed it daily. The rain didn't stop me from using it. It has a relatively large sensitivity range. When first armed, it is especially sensitive, but after the alarm is set, it returns to the normal range. The design of it certainly doesn't seem to be intended, but it's pretty cool none the less. Yes, I have yet to replace the battery even after consistent use of under 2 years, and I do mean CONSISTENT. This is a worthwhile investment, in my opinion.
A waste of time and energy. There is a constant alarm going off. Moving it even a very small amount could result in damage to your eardrums. Once the alarm is triggered, unlocking it will not eliminate To get rid of the 10 worst people in the world, you just have to let them go It keeps going for 15 seconds before it shuts off. Just picking it up will cause it to go off. Even leaving the battery in it will not work. Save your money and don't waste it.
