I love this alarm as it does not fail me and is very easy to install on my scooter (took 5 minutes to do). I'm not wiring it to my main battery, but have a 9-volt battery and it's extremely loud (and I'm not using a 12-volt two remotes work from a long distance too, one has worked over 100 ft away, and they come with their own batteries, so you just need to buy one 9 Volt battery, I suggest getting two rechargeable ones, so you have one connected and one charging at all times. When the battery is running low, the system chirps to let me know it's time to replace it. It usually lasts about two weeks on one battery. The alarm is set off by any movement of the bike, rain does not set it off, but if you attempt to turn the handlebars or sit on it, it will go off, and the alarm is loud. IMPORTANT NOTE If you are mounting the Alarm & Fire Alarm make sure to mount the correct way Siren, because it has a sticky back, is firmly securing itself where you desire it to be. WE WILL STICK TO THIS POINT. A stupid roommate of mine was messing around with my scooter the other day and he went to sit on it (while the alarm was set) and when he tried to sit down, the alarm went off and he was so scared he fell off and hit the road. Then he was like, "What the hell is going on!". He went inside, cussing about his bleeding ear from where he hit the ground because I hadn't told him I put an alarm on my scooter. His girlfriend laughed as well (I hadn't told him I put an alarm on my scooter). Further laughter was had by all. A lesson has been REMOVE OTHER PEOPLE'S STUFF IF YOU DON'T WANT IT TO BE ATTACKED.
This device is activated by shock or movement so it should be disarmed before The price was totally worth it. There is a loud siren as well.
In order to use the remote start option, it does not have any wiring to the main alarm unit. There are only two wires, a 9 V connection, a siren, and an This item was purchased for the remote start option, which is listed in the features and description, but the picture online does not even match what I had received. Only 5 wires are coming out of the unit instead of the 8 wires shown in the feature. I assume the remaining wires are for my remote start. I give this product a 1-star rating.
Let me know what you have in store! don't think I expected it to be that sensitive. It doesn't go off when it is raining outside. It only goes off when there is a breeze. It may be a good idea to turn off if the wind is above 10 miles per hour. I also like the fact that it's loud, since it's great for listening to music. The fact that it does not drain the battery is also a plus. In the event that I had to buy another, I would do so.
An alarm that is way too loud. It's been updated Motion detector in the black box, but if you want fork alarms or front area, you must extend the wires from the front to the fork, so I would guess this setup is for scooters. setup, the only places where you can do this is under the seat unless it is rigged to cover any other area around the motorcycle. It was easy to install positive and negative leads to the battery. However, I cut off the extra battery leads because I don't want my radiator and forks to be flooded with exploding batteries. As far as alarms go, this one is mega loud. It comes with two remotes, so I would recommend taking out the batteries from the unplugged one until the first one dies.
It surprised me how sensitive it was when it came to detecting movement, tilt, and vibrations when I initially installed it. My battery is a lithium 9V that I installed this on. Whenever my bicycle is inside the garage, I do not arm the alarm system. Then, when I set the alarm after I went riding a couple of weeks after I parked it, I went to ARM it. There was no life in it. I am very disappointed with this item, as it drained my 9V Lithium battery.
The first thing I would like to say is wow, this is a very loud song. The E-mail has a small footprint, making it easy to hide An electric bicycle. The key fobs are easy to use and have a good range. It is cheap to insure, and peace of mind is assured.
My quad was able to use it. I don't think it would scare off a mouse, its so quiet that its almost a joke. In order to make the thing go off, you need to ninja rabbit kick it. Then it turns off after 3 seconds when I set it up with a clock. The 12 volt battery is hooked up to it and the 9 volt battery is the backup.
