I looked at it first before drilling, but I am not sure. This is a pretty small island.
A 12 volt continuous supply (diamond radio wire) is then connected to the toggle, then the toggle is connected to the green lead of the light, and then to the ground. The wiring method I use works very well for me.
An attached 12vdc power supply flashes red when the LED is connected. If it is left connected to power indefinitely, I have no idea how long it will continue to flash.

The fact that it does 12 volts and flashes is very appealing. I connected it to work with my car alarm system, using a fuse to connect the positive side to plus 12 volts. Using the negative wire in my car alarm, I am supposed to activate the starter kill relay by connecting it to the low voltage negative ground. This is because when the alarm is active, it receives a constant ground.
So far, I have not had a chance to put it online. There would have been some benefit in having some generic instructions written down.
It does what it says it will. If you are looking for a light that blinks, I recommend this.
It is very bright, the flash rate is perfect, and it is powered by 12 volts.
The installation process is straightforward.
