I adore these air fresheners. They are, in my opinion, well worth the money. )br>They have a strong scent that isn't fake or overpowering. They're much more durable than any other I've tried. br>Their name is the ONLY issue I've ever had with them. /br>I usually keep air fresheners under my car seats to keep them hidden, so I didn't think it was a big deal when I ordered them. BUT, then a friend's young daughter dropped her bracelet and went looking for it under my car seat, and I realized it was a big deal. These were discovered. br>It's an understatement to say it's awkward! br>We'd come to a halt so her daughter could look for her bracelet. Her eight-year-old daughter exclaimed, " "Oh cool!" says the narrator. "I'm glad you discovered it, honey," my friend said. Please fasten your seatbelts so we can get back on the road. " Eight-year-old: "I still haven't found my bracelet, but this is a step in the right direction!" Mommy, this has a lovely scent. Could you please purchase a large quantity of sex wax for my room? What's hiding beneath my mattress? "
My friend did a 100% genuine spit take, followed by a silent yet VERY clear, "WTH is that, WHY do you have it in your CAR, WHY What exactly is it that you're having a problem with? " I could feel the unspoken words burning through my skull as he stared at me with such intensity. " inside my head br>I made an effort to appear as uninvolved as possible. "Mommy, you HAVE to smell this!" her daughter exclaimed joyfully before I could even finish my sentence. "br>We were startled to see her small hand emerge from between the seats. She's heading right for her mother's face! br>My pal's face twisted into a disgusted expression. She was terrified when she realized the "sex wax" that her apparently secretly deviant friend had hidden in her car was now not only in her child's hand, but also heading straight for her own face! She drew her gaze away from her daughter's hand reaching into the front seat and closed her eyes. "Nooo!" exclaimed the screamer. But it was more like a slow motion, exaggerated "Nooooooooo!" ", as seen in commercials for paper towels - It was too late to undo the damage. "See, Mom! Take a whiff!" br> "br>My friend, who had braced herself for whatever was going to squish against her face, /or go up her nose, she felt a little more at ease as she realized nothing had touched her. Then it occurred to her that the coconut scent she'd complimented me on when they'd first gotten into my car had grown stronger, so she proceeded with caution. Turned back to face us, which was unusual. one of my eyes was open br>Her relief was palpable when she saw her daughter holding the air freshener disc! br>She examined it, then turned to face me; in the past I assumed she was trying to get rid of any weird ideas she had about both of us, so we went back and forth a couple of times. lol She told her daughter that it did smell nice, but that she needed to return it to its proper place under the car seat. She wouldn't be able to keep any in her room. She then had to inform a disgruntled customer. They'd have to explain why she can't have it, why she can't tell her friends about it, or ask other family members or adults to buy it for her, to a befuddled 8-year-old. br>I apologized for what had started out as something so simple, but had now turned into something strange. Later, we'll have a sensitive question-filled conversation with them. Thankfully, my friend was not offended by my behavior. After a while, she began to see the situation with a sense of humour. br>However, despite the fact that I now see some humor in it, I have to deduct one star from what would otherwise be a five-star rating. br>That conclusion has absolutely nothing to do with how the product functions. If you don't have to explain the name to curious children, I'm sure you'll think it's a five-star product; however, I'll have to cover the name with black tape before using them again. I'm hoping the tape won't interfere with the smell, but I'm willing to take a chance in order to avoid any awkward situations or discussions in the future.
There isn't much of a scent, if any at all. I bought a four-pack and only used one of them. I moved on to the next one because there was no scent. no scent. I exchanged all four for a new set of four and got the same result, as if they were 20 years old or something. They do have a foul odor. I did, however, buy a Mr. Zogs air freshener mix pack, and each one had a very pleasant, strong, and long-lasting scent. I'm curious about the variations. I'm guessing it's due to the age of the product.
Zog's Sexwax air fresheners were purchased for my vehicles, and they were not disappointed. They have a similar scent to Sexwax's surfboard products. The coconut scent is perfect and abundant without being overpowering. It brought back memories of summers spent at the beach when I was younger. I would highly recommend this product and would purchase it again.
I'm not sure if it's just this seller or the product, but the items lose their scent as soon as they come out of the plastic, as another reviewer mentioned. The clear plastic appears to have yellowed with age, and when the package is opened, the elastic string feels worn out and lacks elasticity, indicating the package's age. It smells great for the first three seconds after it emerges from the plastic, but then it's just a cardboard circle. Based on my experience with two (2) of the four packs, I would consider purchasing the Ula Lagoon product, which has a longer lasting fragrance and smells better.
This was a reorder, and the scent is absolutely divine. br>br>We came across these while browsing a surf shop. We discovered it was large versions of this air freshener that made the shop smell so amazing. (Believe me when I say they were much more expensive at the surf shop!) )br>Cardboard perfume carriers are quite pricey. But these aren't the kind of trees you want to see in your rearview mirror. We keep an eye on the prices and stock up on these to keep around the house. It has an impact. When you walk into a room and inhale deeply, it makes a significant difference that is well worth every penny. You'll be whisked away to the present moment. To me, that's worth a lot of money, so it's a great deal.
I could smell coconut outside my truck for the first week, even with the doors shut! Then my wife would compliment me on how nice I smelled because the scent had stuck to my clothes. It's lost its potency after a month, but it still hides the stench of the beach in my upholstery. As the label clearly states, do not allow it to come into contact with anything. It melted some Mardi Gras beads that had been dangling from the back of my car!.
I was extremely dissatisfied with the four air fresheners that were sent to me. It smells like perfume and cardboard, and it doesn't even smell like coconut, as the package claims. The pine tree fresheners are far superior to the ones that were sent. These make me very unhappy. I've used two so far, thinking the first was just a bad one, but the second was exactly the same as the first; I've had some that smell great, but these are by far the worst I've bought! I'm not sure I want to spend another dime on these.
It is not a worthwhile investment. I was very excited for this purchase at first because I had heard so many good things about this brand, and it smelled amazing when I first took it out of the package and put it in my car, but only for a few hours. The odor dissipates after a few hours. For the price, I don't think it's worth it; it smells like coconut but doesn't last long.
