You're right, it has a metal line in Making perfect lines with vinyl has never been easier.
Thanks, Mr. Nelson. That's what I wanted to know as well. With the 3M Knifeless tape, you can only choose the color green, but when used as intended to cut vinyl, it will not be visible at all.
Due to the limited size of the 3M Design Line Knifeless, only the 50m roll is available. If you are able to use the 10m rolls of 3M FINISH Line Knifeless for your purposes, you can get them at any retail store.
As far as I know, it should be. Using it correctly, I've used it on several types of vinyl and it works great once you get the hang of it.

What a total waste of time and energy! There is no reason to buy this product. There is such a weakness in the thread that it will fall apart easily so frequently that you will end up just using a knife instead. The reviews all seem to be suspect. Why did they not use a sturdy Since I have been around thread my entire life, this is made of the weakest and cheapest thread available. If you want a better result, don't waste your money on this. You can make a better product yourself using masking tape and fishing line for cheaper. Don't waste your money on this.
With stuff like this, the gap between a rank amateur like me and a skilled pro is literally closed. In the attached photos you will find my first attempt to create a three-dimensional picture With an overlay and freehand half circle arc, this rear seat cowl looks great. Several types of tape are available here. I used 3M 1080 white and HARU red satin chrome tapes to see how they behaved. 3M's tape did really well! It was a bit of a challenge to set it up. There is a weaker,/finer string on the design line, so it will slip off by hand -- Start the cuts after you have a sufficient amount of vinyl, tape them back so they don't stick to the vinyl while you are wrapping it. I am truly impressed with this product! The detailed pieces I did before were made by using templates, pre-cut, and manipulated Applying the vinyl piece after it has been cut. The hard way was definitely the way to go.
I love this stuff, works great and is very easy to use, just remember there are a few versions, one specifically for straight lines and this one for curves.
As I watched the 3M video, I saw that the line was easy to start, but that sometimes the cut line doesn't work and sometimes I needed to cut a little of the vinyl to get it going. Some times the line broke halfway (even though I was pulling at a 30° angle) and I had to start pulling from the other end to get the remainder. The bubbles and creases in my wrapping skills are terrible but tomorrow I'll decide whether it was worth the effort or not. If it's not, I will dip it in chocolate.
There is a necessity for this stuff, but I absolutely dislike having to do it. There is a large tendency for the string to break When the string snaps before you start cutting the vinyl, it makes it difficult to start the project. Then, either you need to pull it from the other end or you have to pull it all off and put down another stretch of string (starting the process all I would hate not to have it at all - but I am not convinced that it is necessary. However, to have it be so delicate when it's being used for such detailed scenarios (vinyl wrapping, etc. ), how annoying!.
With this, I was able to create a custom sun shade on my Jeep Liberty 2005 in no time at all. In order to make it unique and one-of-a-kind, I had it contoured to the exact curve of the hood. Also, it helped me avoid the stress of having to measure twice and cut once only to find it was off by a few millimeters.
Once you figure out how to release the line from the tape, the unit is very easy to use. Cleans up the lines and curves when cutting. My car's hood and front bumper were covered in carbon fiber vinyl. I used this knofless tape to lay out the vinyl.
Using a product like this is the first time I've done My jaw dropped when I saw this. My aim was to design something differenet, a vinyl design that you cannot find anywhere else, and also one that is not easy to find or buy. The layout was easy, it was easy to turn and it was simple If you wish to install the software, you MUST follow the instructions carefully. It helped me to understand how it worked and how best to use it by watching a few YouTube videos. Definitely worth the money!.
