As far as I can tell, the lock on my craftsman toolboxes and TSC and Deezee boxes are all the same size and style.
The first place I would look is Amazon. It has never occurred to me to look
The lock and key are alike, so you shouldn't have to do anything about keying them unless you want to change the key.

It is the perfect lock and replacement for my UWS toolbox on my pickup truck. A lock cylinder does have flat sides on the sides, and so it is perfectly matched with the flat-sided cylinder An opening in my toolbox has the shape of a circle. It was difficult to see this in the description and photos, so I have attached a photo showing it clearly. By using that design, the cylinder is held firmly in place and cannot be turned without it. I was not happy with the cylinder lock I purchased at the hardware store (for drawer/cabinet use), which is usually complete circles and does not have correct rod lengths to match my toolbox latch. My toolbox is now secure again and I am very happy about that!.
A perfect match for the latch on my Challenger pickup tool box, a 24 year old model. This little piece of hardware went right on in place of the original and had to be installed in less than two minutes. As you know, I don't have the key for There was a C- in it There was a CH-mark on them There is a key 501. In my research, I found that a new pair of keys was less than half the price elsewhere, but I couldn't find free shipping, so it would have cost about the same as replacing the cylinder with a new set of keys with free shipping through Amazon Prime. The locks in this style are not in any way high security, as you are no doubt aware if you have one. Even though this barrier will deter a casual thief from trawling through your belongings when no one is looking, anyone with a little determination and some brute force can easily overcome it. The product was not designed to withstand this type of abuse.
There was no branding on the toolbox and there were no keys on the used truck I purchased. It was the only lock I could find that matched the dimensions of the existing lock, and it fit the box perfectly. A unique feature of this fish is the Now that I've built my own house, I can store and lock things inside (except for cheap ice scrapers).
The lock on the back of my pickup is the perfect replacement for the one on the tool box. My old lock would not turn with the key anymore, so I had to remove the bolt and take out the old unit. It installed without any difficulty and has been working flawlessly since the day it was installed. The lid of my box doesn't move at all even when I pull it like a possessed chimpanzee. As ordered, the key moved the lock with little resistance. It, therefore, locked and unlocked, as intended, without a hitch. sturdy and is a great value for the price. It is also easy It is something I would definitely buy.
To add even more details about my box, it is low profile. Two keys and a lock are included in the package, and the installation took less than five minutes. The only thing you have to do is unscrew the nut on the inside and replace it. You just need to follow these simple steps.
The solution works perfectly. It is the exact replacement lock I need for my truck's tool box. In the process of purchasing my used pickup, which included a toolbox, I did not receive the keys for It would have been better for me to order these years ago, since my toolbox has been stolen several times while I worked. The locks were basically easy to install, and you can use the same key to open both. The parking lot is no more,.
In order to upgrade my Jeep TJ, I bought a set of used Bestop Soft Doors. A man couldn't open the locks because he didn't have the key. Resulting in a total price of $80 for a complete paddle handle with lock from Bestop. Since they were similar in dimension and I could find one at 00 for one, I bought them. There was a need to replace the paw Although they were a bit oddly shaped, they worked perfectly at a fraction of the cost.
In order to find the right lock to fit my truck tool box, it was a challenge. It has been very helpful to have exact measures and dimensions listed in the advertisement. The right lock fit the first time easily and worked just like it did like the original! This was a great help in getting just the right lock the first time.
