I thought that this was very well done. A 3-inch width is what I ordered to use on the I expected to see a semi truck below the bed and I was not disappointed. A positive review led me to purchase this box for a customer. During a visit, a rusted pipe was provided to the customer Their truck is fitted with a toolbox made by a big-box store. In my opinion, the aluminum door is much more heavy-duty than the old door (the steel is much thicker, and the aluminum is much heavier). The locking handles and locks feel extremely well built. Four matching keys were included. Despite the weatherproof gasket having good fit, it doesn't appear to keep out moisture and dust. I could easily stand on the door with my 220lb body. Considering the powder coating was installed on a snow plow/salt truck, it can take time to see how long the coating will last. I was very satisfied with the quality of this box and the price for the price. The customer used the box extremely abusively and the quality was very good.

Two different boxes were sent to me. In one case, it was diamond plate, and in the other, sheet steel. In addition to diamond plates, the one on the left also catches on the side. The paint on this model was literally missing from the factory after it had been forced shut. As well as tweaking it, I also changed it. It is unfortunate that these expensive boxes are so shotty in quality.

I've had these boxes on my F350 flatbed for two years and they're still in great shape. It sometimes takes a bit to get the cables for the doors out of the way, but it's These weather guard boxes are cheaper and just as nice as weather guard boxes.

It is a little disappointing to find a dent on the top of the toolbox upon arrival. This does not impact the functionality of the toolbox. The brackets for mounting the mountain ting do not come with this unit.

Unfortunately, my package arrived dented (like every other customer) but the problem wasn't too big of a deal. A closer look shows it does not contain the gasket that goes between the latch assembly and the door face. I now have to contact Buyers Products to see if I can get a gasket only (a task I doubt I will be successful). I hope you have a better experience.

This was ordered for someone else and when it was received, a corner was bent and the box had been dropped. We'd read that other people who ordered had experienced the same thing. As it was not adversely affecting what would be working, he decided to keep it. Nevertheless, it was bent and dirty. Their packaging could easily be tuned to prevent this from happening to other customers in the future.

As it turns out, this box is actually more sturdy than I'd expected for the price. I figured it would be fairly thin and flimsy for the cost, but it's actually very sturdy. Thanks again for sending this, and I'll be able to put it on my gooseneck trailer without a hitch.
