It does not have a locking security system, however, the tailgate on my truck can be locked, which would prevent someone from gaining entry and releasing the clamps that keep the cover in place.
Alu square tubing is used for the frame work. This is a very strong bag, and the fabric it is made of is of good quality. Using the clamps system, it takes a few minutes to install. Included are two weather seals at the front and rear. With the flip of a lever on the rear clamp, the rear clamps can be released. The material appears to fit tightly with the seal and if it is not watertight appears to seal well. The material was hard to believe at first, but after receiving it, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good deal at a reasonable price. This purchase made me extremely happy.
This is a vinyl (soft cover)
It was hit by a storm when it was parked all night, and the bedding was bone dry as a result. In any case, it will probably be the same while on the road since the air will keep the rain from falling on it. So far, I have been very satisfied with my purchase. I am still waiting to learn more, but so far, I am very pleased.

It's a 5 star rating. I recommend you buy it! Researching and reading reviews on every product is something that I always do prior to any purchase, so I had a few reservations about this purchase. I have a no-BS review for you. Shipments - Product arrived without damage within four days of ordering, and with no parts missing. - Installation - Despite the fact that the instructions aren't very clear, it is pretty easy to understand how this product works once you open the box. The brain surgery is not required! In Michigan, I installed this cover after work on one frigid evening when my 2018 Silverado 1500 crew cab with a 6'6" bed was in the garage. Timed my install and from the time I opened the box, read the instructions, installed the weather stripping, and closed my tailgate after it was done, it took me less than 15 minutes! Though the free light is a little cheesy, it is free and does the job fine. It does provide a lot of light and functions well. Generally speaking, the install has gone well. It is really easy to use, very easy to operate, and a great product. For starters, I had a dealer install a tonneau cover on my last truck, something that cost me almost In this case, the only notable difference was that the support bars were a bit heavier, but it was It's been about two weeks now since I installed my cover, and I'm thrilled with It doesn't bother me that the brackets are made of plastic, but they seem durable and heavy-duty. Those attached to the cover that sits on each side, bulk head, and tailgate all latch down tightly. I added the supplied weather strip to the bulk head to fill the 1/8" gap on the bulk head, and used the other supplied weather strip to seal the tailgate against the inside of the bed wall frame. (I do not have a bed liner, just a bedmat. ) During over 400 miles of 70 mph+ highway driving and in frigid temperatures, the cover performed flawlessly so far, and it has gone through the car wash, a snow storm, a snowstorm, and even a car wash. When I am driving highway speeds, there is no noise, vibration, or any other complaint. It will be interesting to see if the cover will shrink or stretch this summer with warmer temps, but as of right now I would recommend it. It's important to double check that the brackets are still tight several weeks after installation to prevent any potential issues. When I did that, I have never seen a product like this at this price. save your savings for the other accessories you need for your truck. Tyger, you did a great job!.
In the last few weeks, I purchased a brand new Silverado and was going to purchase the official GM tri-fold It's absurd to think I would have bought that tonneau cover for almost as much as it cost. Holy cow! What a mistake. There is nothing better than this cover! It fits perfectly, the price is reasonable, and it A big thank you to Tyger for providing such a great.
My cover has held up very well since I bought it for a 700-mile trip over Thanksgiving in November. The product fit my 2000 Chevy Silverado well and didn't require any modification. The installation was simple and straightforward. It was nice that it was made of metal and contained a lot of space A tight latch allowed it to close tightly. I pulled the vinyl tight and it stayed in place It stayed tight in temperatures between 90 and 100 degrees even when the cover was latched down. Two people were needed to remove the cover completely from the truck bed. One person can remove the cover completely from the bed on their own. In my opinion, there were three things I would have preferred to see done differently / that could have been better 2) The handles used to cinch the top of the truck bed to the frame, the handles most frequently used while opening and closing the cover There are plastic tabs on the cover that close the cover. It would have been better to have them in metal since plastic degrades over time.
2) There is an issue with the seal on the cover that holds it to the bed rail. There's a problem with the hinge, the seal binds up, and it happens at the hinges of the cover To lay flat, the bed must be adjusted. As the adhesive starts to break down, the wall is falling apart. 1) The cover is too narrow to cover all of the exposed bed stakes, those four cutouts in the bed rail. It would be nice to have some caps for those or I might make them myself. As a result of not having time to deal with this problem before I left for my trip, most of the rain water was not kept out. It is not clear whether anything under the cover got soaked to a satisfactory degree, but the seal does not go over that part.
As a result- The easiest part! Our team of two (two people) only needed five minutes The whole thing will take no more than 10 minutes Our mistake was not to put the weather stripping on initialy (unnecessary). So, we had to take the windshield off to add the weather stripping. The pros are I'm sorry. I love the look of this I'm sorry. It was super easy to install. I'm sorry. It is affordable. I'm sorry. You can fold this up and fold it back down again very easily. I'm sorry. Since there isn't any flapping of the fabric in the wind, etc, they designed it to hold up really well. I'm sorry. As long as the weather stripping is on, I haven't noticed any water inside my house The cons are I'm sorry. There have been none so far. You really can't get simpler than that and it looks good too!.
Prior to purchasing this top, I owned an Extang Trifecta top for 12 years I had an Extang top for 13 years and I loved it, but I bought this top because it had good reviews and was about half the price. Well, in my opinion, this top is about half the price of the Extang, so you get your money's worth. Installation and use of this top are not as easy as they are with an Although the clamps at the front are ok, the rear clamps are very difficult to employ. My truck had them installed way too tightly so I could not get the clamps to clamp both sides, and they were not able to be adjusted. In addition to being spring loaded, Extang's clamps are also extremely adaptable, easily adjustable, and are extremely easy to use. The design of this top was totally different from one I have on my body, which is why I did not expect it to have a similar design to my body. In my opinion having the Extang top is well worth the extra $200 as it is a much better and easier to use top.
