Things like this tonneau cover made no difference, and I believe the only scenario that resulted in a marginal amount of fuel savings was replacing your tailgate with a mesh/net style one. Anyone interested in learning more about this should conduct their own research, visit multiple websites, and rely on people who have actually tested the product rather than simply expressing their opinion. Because half of the time, they're just repeating old stories they've heard from others, which is how misinformation spreads. I chose the Tyger because it was the right size for my 2019 Ram 1500 with a 6 4 bed. Despite the fact that it stated that it would not fit.

It was a breeze to set up - As I stood there taking pictures and watching my husband do all the work, I thought to myself, I quizzed him throughout the process, and he was blown away by how quickly it went up. He went back and made some adjustments, which took some time but were simple to do thanks to the included instructions. It was well-protected during shipping and arrived in perfect condition. It even came with a sturdy bag to keep it in if you ever wanted to take it off for any reason. My husband has loaded 400 sand bags into the bed of the truck since it was installed, and we have already received several inches of rain. This week, we've also received several inches of snow - The sandbags, on the other hand, are still nice and dry. He was worried that the seam between the tailgate and the cover would let moisture in, but it has remained dry. It also has straps to keep the folded-up items in place. If you need to travel with the cover open, you can fold it up. br>br>While I can't predict how things will turn out in the long run, we've been very pleased with the quality so far. For such a low price, the product is extremely well packaged and of excellent quality. Because I had to cut down my plastic bed rails, installation took a little longer than most of the other reviews. The clamps were supposed to be tightened on the metal bed rails, but my plastic rails completely covered the metal. It was only a quick measure and trim away from being perfect! When I was driving down the highway, there was no flapping at all. At the front of the bed, near the cab, I used the enclosed weather stripping. As a result, it was a fantastic seal, and there was no light in the bed after installation. It comes highly recommended! br>br>Update**
We had 12" of spring snow on the cover and it held up beautifully with no sagging!.
I'm very pleased with how well it fits my Dodge Ram. I live in Seattle, which has a wide range of weather conditions, including a lot of rain. My bed does not get wet. The best thing about this product is being able to tell people how much it cost me. Everyone is taken aback and inquires as to where I purchased it. Ok. First and foremost, I have previously owned low-cost Tonneau covers. For the price, it far exceeded my expectations. br>br>The vehicle in question was a 2017 RAM 1500 Sport with a 5'7" bed. To run it, I put my 4k camping generator underneath it and folded back the cover. When I'm gone during the day, I'll close the cover and lock the tailgate so no one can just take it. Exceptionally well-made and finished. It's a simple four-screw installation. Foam tape is included for gaps, but if you need more, you can get it at Home Depot or Lowes. The front of the bed and the bed lid had a lower trim than the sides, which the included seal tape would fill. Urethane pads are included to keep the screws in place where they touch the rail. Is this supposed to lay flat on top of the bed and seal like a door? No. However, unlike the others, it does not cost $1200. Does this deter a determined thief from breaking into your bed? No. However, if they want in, they'll get in no matter what you do. Is there any rattling or vibration when driving? Mine doesn't, and I'm aware that it isn't as snug as it could be. It was going 80 mph with no wiggle. br>br>WELL WORTH THE $205 I PAID FOR IT (I had a coupon at the time of purchase). At $400, it's a no-brainer. Without a doubt, I would purchase this product again.

AN AMAZING PRODUCT! It only took me 15 minutes to finish. It's extremely simple to set up. The large clamps that secure the rail along the bed irritate me, but that's just me. There's nothing wrong with them; I just don't like them and am willing to drill a few holes in the bed rail to get rid of them. Make sure the rails are fastened far enough inward that the final crossbar does not have a gap when it is brought down to its final position. br>It looks great and is simple to change as needed.
There is one minor gripe. This is for a 2012 Ram 2500 Laramie Crew Cab Short Bed that I ordered. I've had it up and running for a few weeks now, with one cross-platform feature. a journey through the countryside br>br>Shipping was print-on-demand, and the top arrived fully assembled with the exception of a few minor adjustments. Because of the length and width of my truck- I needed to adjust the mount spacing on the bed, which I did by moving two screws. In less than 15 minutes, my son and I had it up and running. Because it's a universal top, we spent the majority of our time figuring out which position I liked best for proper edge overlap and corner fit. It was really just a matter of putting the top on the truck and pushing it in. I used the provided foam tape to secure the mounts to the rails once I was satisfied with the position. It's comfortable to wear and stylish. I packed the bed with luggage, strollers, food, and a variety of other family travel necessities for our trip. We drove through rain, wind, and a lot of dusty roads, and when we arrived at our destination, everything under the bed was gone. It was clean and dry on the inside of the cover. I've also hauled lumber, tools, trash, and other materials since then. I only have one minor quibble. Because the top folds in three sections rather than rolling up like other tops, it will always cover the front third of the bed unless you completely remove it, which means leaving it wherever you are. Other roll-up tops would give you a lot more bed space, but they'd be more difficult to open and close. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with the design, though in hindsight, I might have gone with a roll-top rather than this fold-over. style.
