Questions & Answers
The cover does not have a security lock, but my truck's tailgate is lockable, preventing someone from breaking in and releasing the clamps that secure the bed cover.
Aluminum square tubing is used for the frame. It is extremely durable, and the fabric is of the highest quality. It takes only a few minutes to set up with the clamps system. Weather seals are included in the front and rear. With a flip of the rear clamp's lever, the rear clamps are released. It is snugly fitted to the material and appears to have a watertight seal, even if it is not completely watertight. I was hesitant about the material at first, but after receiving it, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good deal and excellent quality. This purchase has made me extremely happy.
My car was hit by a storm while parked for the night, and the bed was completely dry the next morning. I'm sure it'll be the same while driving, since the rain will be pushed over it anyway by the air. I'm still waiting to hear back, but I'm pleased with my purchase thus far.
It's metal all the way around with fiber reinforced plastic in the corners, and it appears to be very durable.

br>br> The shipping packaging was well-made and provided adequate protection for the product. I was pleased to discover that it came with a storage bag to keep it in when not in use. It was easy to install and fit perfectly on my 2017 Sierra with the factory spray-in bed liner. I didn't use any of the included weather stripping because it fit perfectly without it. It's only about 17 degrees outside, so I'm expecting the material to flatten out as it gets warmer. When spring arrives and I've put some miles on the car, I'll update my thoughts. br>br>Ok, so we've been on the road for almost four months and have covered over 6500 miles with weather ranging from mild to extreme. 65f. It's still going strong and looks great. It keeps everything dry and hidden. After months of use, the last three photographs were taken.
I wish. Here's how it works: br> There's a compromise with any type of tonneau cover: the roll-ups are cheap, but they can't support any weight, so they sag and look bad. The solid one-piece ones are secure and can withstand a load, but they are extremely expensive; this is the middle ground. In terms of security, it's a small step forward from nothing. It can take a little pressure. And then there's the $200 from the Amazon warehouse. It's lovely. My 2014 Silverado double cab looks fantastic with it. One person can install it in about ten minutes. Mine doesn't leak much at all. It's a foregone conclusion. One concern I had was how it would fare in the car wash. I purchase an unlimited pass and wash my truck three times each week. 5 times per week is the minimum. There were no problems at all. I'm blown away and extremely pleased. I strongly advise you to do so. Thank you for taking the time to read this update. br> Okay, it's been through the car wash 35 times and hasn't leaked a single drop of water. That, in my opinion, is pretty cool. And it only takes me four minutes to remove or put on. I've done it a few times and it only takes 5 minutes.
5 Star. Buy It! I have to admit that I do my homework and read reviews on every product before making a purchase, and I had some reservations about this one. So, without further ado, here is my frank assessment. br>br>Shipping br>br>Shipping br>br>Shipping br br>With no damage and no missing parts, this product arrived in about four days. Installation br>br>Installation br>Installation br>Installation br>Installation br> The instructions aren't great, but once you open the box, it's pretty self-explanatory how to install this product. Brain surgery is not an option. I live in Michigan, and on a chilly evening after work, I installed this Cover on my 2018 Silverado 1500 crew cab with a 6'6" bed. I timed my installation and it took me less than 15 minutes from the time I opened the box, sorted through the parts, installed the supplied weather stripping, and closed my tailgate when I was finished! The free light is a little cheesy, but it's free. I didn't have high hopes for it, but it works well and provides plenty of light. Install everything in one shot. Super simple to use and a fantastic product. br>br>Product performance- br>First and foremost, I had a tonneau cover installed by an OEM dealership on my previous truck, which cost me around $1,200. The only noticeable difference was that the support bars were a little thicker, but the extra $900 was not worth it! I've had my cover for about two weeks and I'm really pleased with it. The brackets are made of plastic, but they appear to be strong and durable, which does not bother me. The weather strips that are attached to the sides, bulkhead, and tailgate of the cover all deal down tight. (I don't have a bed liner, just a bed mat. ) I used the supplied weather strip to fill a 1/8" gap on the bulkhead, and another supplied weather strip to close the tailgate against the inside wall frame of the bed. So far, there have been no water leaks or issues, and the cover has performed flawlessly in the car wash, snow storms, over 400 miles of 70 mph highway driving, and frigid temperatures. At highway speeds, there is no noise or vibrations, and I have no complaints at all. I'm curious to see if the cover shrinks or stretches as the weather warms up this summer, but for now, I'd recommend it. To rule out any potential issues, I double-checked that the brackets were still tight a few weeks after installation. This one is fantastic for a low-cost product. Purchase it and use the money to purchase other truck accessories! Tyger, you did an excellent job!.
It took about 45 minutes to install, and I really like that there is no drilling involved. A Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm socket are all you'll need. Once installed, it required very little tweaking to get it to fit perfectly. It has a nice appearance and is simple to operate. The amount of weatherstripping and foam on this cover is something that really impressed me. On my 1999 Silverado, I had an old access tonnosport rollup that didn't have any of that. I'm excited to put this new cover to the test to see how watertight it is. Great product!br>br>**update** 10/8/19br>br>This cover has been on my truck for just over a year and needs to be replaced. The star rating has been reduced to one. The price was attractive at first, but it was not worth it if the cover failed to last. Its current inability to stay tight is my biggest gripe. The velcro is no longer holding it in place, and it is now leaking. I can pull it tight on the sides and it loosens up within a few hours; it has also faded to a brown color; I've tried every cleaning product I can think of and nothing works. Buyers should be cautious. Spend your money on something else.
This bed cover was exactly what they said it would be and was incredibly simple to put together. Because of the low price, I was skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised; the garment is fantastic, fits perfectly, and looks fantastic. Thanks.
What a colossal blunder it would have been to buy a fold-up tonneau cover for almost a grand. This cover is incredible! br>br> Fits perfectly, is reasonably priced, and appears to be of high quality. Thank you for making such a fantastic product, Tyger!.
