The cover is dual-coated and made of heavy-duty 24 oz. material. Side rails are made of aircraft-grade aluminum, and stainless steel clamps for mounting to the truck bed are included.
On the sides, there is a Velcro strip, and at the tailgate, there is a latch lock system. A tension system is available, which can be adjusted on the end of the side rails to keep the cover tight and the vinyl wrinkle-free in any weather.
Instructions and mounting hardware are included for a simple no-drill installation. | NOTE: For vehicles with over-the-bedrail bedliners, small holes in the bedliner will need to be cut to secure the clamps for proper cover installation; the cover will work without modification with under-the-bedrail bedliners.
FOR US CUSTOMERS, A TEN-YEAR NO-HASSLE WARRANTY IS INCLUDED!

Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with a 1995 K1500 Silverado ext cab?

It says 88 through 07, but mine is an 03, and it fit perfectly. If I had a 97 extended cab, it would have fit as well. As long as it's the 6-and-a-half-foot bed, the beds are the same size.

What is the maximum amount of snow that can be used?

The biggest snowfall we've had was 6 inches, and it didn't cause any problems.

Is this compatible with the GMC Carbon Pro 2021?

Only if your bed is roughly 65" x 77" in size. It's the perfect fit for my 2005 GMC regular bed, and you'll love the look if your measurements match those shown.

Why should I pay more for a cover like this? ***Update*** This cover looks and functions exactly the same as it did when I first installed it after two years! For the past two harsh Maine winters, I haven't had to shovel snow from my truck bed
5/5

I can store whatever I want in the back without fear of rain or snow. When the cover is down, I keep the things I use most easily accessible by using a ratcheting cargo bar near the back. Love it! br>br>After getting stuck in the rain on my way to a camping trip and trying to cram everything into the back seat (with passengers), I vowed to get a Tonneau cover. NEVER, EVER AGAIN. After doing some research, I discovered a variety of styles, brands, and prices, but I wanted to keep my budget under $200. I was torn between a roll-up and a tri-fold after learning about the different types and applications. fold. I chose the roll-up over the trifold because I didn't want to lose any bed space, which a trifold does unless you remove it. br>br>I chose the Tyger Topro roll up after looking at a lot of different brands and reviews. I noticed that this MaxMate had the same pictures as the Tyger I was looking at, so I assumed it was the same Tyger I was looking at, just branded differently. When it arrived, it was the Tyger brand, which is exactly what I wanted in the first place, but this one was $20 cheaper. Because this model hides your stake holes, you'll need to remove it or consider purchasing a low-profile model that leaves the holes exposed if you plan on using a rack to transport your belongings. br>The cover came in a sturdy cardboard box, with the cover portion in a storage bag and the rails and clamps safely packaged to prevent scratches. An instruction booklet, warranty card, and parts checklist were also included, as well as an LED light for mounting near the back. It took me about 12 hours to install the cover, which was very simple. If I need to remove it, it will probably take 5 minutes to remove and 20 minutes to reinstall. My 2015 GMC Sierra with a 6. 8L engine has excellent fit and finish. 5ft bed. The cover, as well as the stitching and the release, were both straight and smooth. It rolls up so easily that I can use the entire bed, and when rolled down, it sits nice and flat. The first weekend after I put it on, it rained nonstop, but there was no water in my bed. The rain beaded up nicely and ran off the top. I haven't driven very far (about 200 miles) with it on, but my gas mileage appears to be better. . . we'll see. The tailgate can also be locked for added security (a thief would have to cut it open to get inside). Where I used to always fill up the back seat, I now find myself putting things in the bed on a much more regular basis. So far, everything is going well, and I am very pleased with this cover.

A 4000-mile road trip is planned
5/5

I recently returned from a 4000 mile road trip from New York to Cape Cod. High winds, major tstorms, and sideways rain didn't stop it from performing admirably. It appears to be in good condition. I'd buy it again if I didn't have to, but I'm not sure I'll have to. The photo was taken at the end of a four-kilometer hike. Oh, and it's also very simple to set up.

It's very good, and I enjoy it
5/5

I set the difficulty level to low. Everything else was self-explanatory, with the exception of mounting the side rail on the front section. The only problem I had was that one of the side rails would not slide over like the male end of the front section. I was pounding on it with a rubber mallet, but it wouldn't budge. I took it off and looked at the male end, which had these threaded round nut-like things on it that were about a 16th of an inch long. It slid right on like it was greased when I pushed it in with my finger. It took 15 to 20 minutes to complete the rest of the tasks. I just went by feel and set it on with my fingers as a gauge. It was perfectly tight when I unrolled it. I used to tighten up my truxedo by lifting up the sides and pulling down, but it doesn't appear to be necessary with this one. Otherwise, as the truxedo travels down the road, it will flail a little. The only drawback, which isn't a deal breaker for me, is that it doesn't cover the back stake holes. As a result, water will be able to infiltrate. Stake hole plugs are available, but they cost an additional $24. The magnetic light is a one-of-a-kind item from a liquidator store, but it does the job. When I park, I use a spray-on bedliner to keep it from sticking to the side. It'll be lying on the bed when you first hit a bump. Perhaps the plan is to keep it off the side of the box for the time being. However, store it in the cab's storage box until needed. Aside from that, I'm very pleased with it, especially considering the price.

Why a "soft" roll-up? It has a nice cover, good quality, a clean look, and a great price
5/5

What's the deal with the tonneau cover that's up? Years ago, I experimented with soft Tonneau covers and had both positive and negative results. I had hard plastic Tonneau covers on my previous two trucks. Each style has its own set of benefits and drawbacks. I went back to the vinyl cover because it was easier to roll it up when I needed to put something tall in the truck's bed. The hard plastic covers are nice, but they are heavier and must be removed (by two people) if you need to transport a piece of furniture or a kitchen appliance, for example. Oh, and there's also the cost: a good hard cover will cost much more. br>br>I put in this roll-up door. On my 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT with 6, I put up a cover about a week ago. 5' bed. First and foremost, it was extremely simple to set up. It only took me about 30 minutes to install it, and I took my time. The clamps appear to be sturdy and do a good job of holding the side rails in place. The vinyl appears to be of a high-quality, durable material, and the built-in cross bars are a nice touch. The cross bars not only keep the cover tight, but they also make it easier to roll it up when needed. The cover fits tightly and has a nice clean look when rolled out and latched into place. The rails are all pre-installed with foam tape, which will keep the rain out when you put it on. An additional foam tape/seal is included in the kit, which I believe is for the truck bed's front rail. My truck, on the other hand, has a plastic bed liner that covers the front bed rail, effectively making it the same height as the sides of the bed, so I didn't need to use any additional foam weather seal. A tailgate seal was also included in the kit, but I have yet to use it. The latch system is excellent, and with the tailgate locked, no one will be able to get into your truck's bed without cutting the vinyl. The latch system works well and is simple to operate. br>br>I suppose my only criticism is that the cover could be a little bit bigger (longer/wider) and come out closer to the edge of the bed rails and tailgate from a cosmetic standpoint. Those of you installing this cover on a late model Sierra/Silverado may want to consider another option. In the back of the bed rails on these trucks, there are two oddly shaped stake pockets. For a cleaner look, I purchased covers for these and snapped them in place (as seen in the photo) before installing the tonneau cover. These are the ones I got if a link will work:.
