With my 2009 Ford F150, I decided to go with the partition this time instead of a bed extender. It works great and can be installed and removed quickly. I can store 5 gallon gas cans along with propane tanks as well as tools and other items in this case. In the case of not being installed in the bed, there ought to be a way to isolate it from slipping around. I use bungee cords to do this. The price is a bit high, but I would buy it again if it were less expensive. Included some photos of how it secures so folks can see how it works.
The basics are as follows The XLT in the 150 is equipped with a 5 cylinder. The bed is 5' long. My reason for getting this Divider is that I have a large storage container and a cooler (think cold storage and other items), and I wanted to be able to keep these items stationary. There is no doubt that it is the right The tailgate is 16 inches away from the divider when the tailgate is closed (when the tailgate is closed). From the top of the Divider to the top of the bed liner, there is a 5-inch space. Installing the software is very easy. Please take note You will need to install two (2) Bed Standard Interface Plates (available on Amazon, 4 plates for $49). A Divider needs a hole (00) for the hook to go through.
Keeping chains, binders, and tools right up by the tailgate is always a good idea. If I need to carry something more substantial, I can remove the partition easily and it is thin enough to fit under the tool box so that it can be stowed. The "folding" part of the description seems odd to me. A blow molded panel partition that is removable, but is strong and locks into the Box Link mounts quite easily, is a solid product made from heavy plastic. There is nothing that folds on it.
This is an easy to install system. It is light enough to handle easily, but strong enough to deal with the job at hand. I can easily snap it into the Box Link System of my 2020 F150 Without using a key, it can be locked in place for $150. Several areas of the bed liner have been flattened where the feet of the divider rest. Almost as if it were planned to be Despite its sturdy construction, the divider is probably able to withstand some heavy weight. Fuel cans, propane tanks, groceries, and other items I haul that do not require the entire bed to be used are what I haul with this.
I installed a liner for my 2018 Ford F150. Delivery was quick and efficient, I'm very happy with that.
Even though it is a bit bulky, the bed partition is very effective. The items I store in it are items which I want to be able to access quickly, preventing them from floating around in To make it easier to use, I keep my Honda generators next to each other. It would fit my cooler in there as well if it was a bit thinner. In the event I had to spend slightly more money on a metal version which is smaller and takes up less storage space.
Using this bed diver, you can connect it directly to the box link system, if one is available. Takes a few seconds to put on and take off. With the divider, you will be able to carry in two large roller suitcases plus two carry-on suitcases Here's to you.
As could be expected from a Ford product, this seat fits well. However, it is too close to the tailgate for any real use and does not adjust fore or aft. As mentioned before, it is incompatible with Ford hard tonneau covers if installed into the BoxLink mounts in front.
