Questions & Answers

Has anyone tried it with a Bakflip Tonneau cover?

My Nissan Titan has the G2 bakflip and is a 2018 model. Otherwise, the tent will be obstructed by the first section (which serves as a shelf). I like the storage shelf, but the only drawback is that you have to lie with your head facing the tailgate/door. You'll be out of luck if you prefer to sleep with your head against the cab door.

Is it possible to use without having to remove my toolbox?

Yes, it'll work with a toolbox... I'm using a Weatherguard model 302105-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 0 and it fits perfectly; however, the edges should be handled with caution.

What's the difference between a five-foot-tall person and a five-foot-tall person?

When it came to designing our truck tents, we discovered that the Mid Size Short Bed (5') trucks differed enough to warrant two distinct models. The Nissan Frontier '05-'110765' is compatible with this part. Present, as well as the Toyota Tacoma '04-'06. Present. The 110766 Tall Bed is equipped with the following features: Chevrolet Colorado '15 br> Ford Ranger '15-'Presentbr>Ford Ranger '15-'Presentbr>Ford Ranger ' Currently availablebr>GMC Canyon '15 Please call us if you have any questions about tent selection.br>Presentbr>Jeep Gladiatorbr> 888685GEAR is a phone number that you can call to get more information

Is this compatible with a Dodge Ram king cab from 2006?

On a scale of 1 to 6, I've set mine. It will fit in a 5' bed. Simply measure the length and width of your bed.

So far, everything has gone well
5/5

After a massive rainstorm, the ground is bone dry. So far, I've only taken one trip with it. If necessary, I will make changes. br>It is true to its word. If you take your time and follow the instructions (imagine that), it's very simple to set up. We got lucky with a break as we got to the campsite, and I got it set up moments before another storm started on our first trip. It had rained earlier (see muddy truck), but we got lucky with a break as we got to the campsite, and I got it set up moments before another storm started. We finished setting up the rest of our camp and ate dinner under a tarp as the Amazon River raged around us. That night, we went to bed late. I was bone dry, and I awoke bone dry the next morning. Condensation is always an issue with tents, and it was especially noticeable in the mornings. The shelter, on the other hand, ensures that rain does not enter the building. I can't comment on wind stability just yet, but I'll make a change if (when) it occurs. br>The zippers are tiny and appear to be fragile. I'm taking my time with them because I prefer zippers and seams that are more durable. The tent is also quite thin, and I'm not sure how the stitching will hold up if it gets wet - However, this is not the case. This small tent is well-designed and has proven to be quite durable so far. br>I've been very pleased so far.

Zippers that are inexpensive, inexpensive, inexpensive, inexpensive, inexpensive, inexpensive, inexpensive, inexpensive To all the fathers out there, I wish you a very happy Father's Day
3/5

NOT! br>br>On Father's Day, I got this thing delivered and decided to mount it on my brand new F250. For my F150, which I traded, I had a truck tent, but it wasn't this model. That's one I've never had an issue with. This tent appealed to me because it has no floor, which means you won't have to take your camping gear out of the truck to set it up. As a result, I decided to purchase it. The orange rain fly should have told me right away that this was a cheap tent. Whoever designed this tent obviously isn't a camper. But back to the main reason why this is being returned after only owning it for less than 2 hours: after leisurely putting the tent together in my driveway (this is why you should test all equipment you buy - this is why you should test everything you buy - this is why you should test everything you buy - this is why you should test everything you buy - this is why you should test everything you buy - this is why you should test everything you buy - this is why you should test You're not fooling around with it; you're putting it through its paces before taking it into the field). I tried to close the tent with a zipper. I wasn't planning on doing it, but I figured I should at least try. The zippers are very inexpensive! Why don't you use some high-quality YKK zippers on this? The zippers had broken and were no longer functioning. What exactly is the point of this? If I'm having problems with the zippers splitting even though I'm not using it, I'll let you know. This indicates that the zippers and other materials will not last over time. Even if it is stored, the tent will not last if it is used over several seasons. br>br>I'm so disappointed in this subpar product that I can't wait to return it!.

It appears that this tent is fantastic
5/5

This tent has so far exceeded my expectations. I just got it and haven't used it yet for camping, but I fell in love with it the moment I opened the box! I read every single one of the reviews, and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. I wanted to make sure I got the right size for my 2015 Dodge Ram short bed truck, and I also wanted to make sure I didn't make any of the erection mistakes that so many others have made (and thus damaged their tents). br>Determining which way the tent should be aligned on the truck took a few minutes. It was necessary to examine the photograph on the box. I made sure not to tighten the side straps until the very last minute, based on other testimonies. In my truck's tent, the rods fit very snugly. I didn't push anything and simply wiggled and shook the tent to make sure everything was in place and not tearing. It has a nice tight fit and a great appearance. I did discover, however, that my truck lacks any "lip" edges along the sides to which the hooks could easily hook, so I had to improvise by hooking the front hooks inside the back door under the seat and closing the door on the straps. One side strap had to be attached to the back wheel as well. Everything was still in working order. I bought a 5-foot cot to put inside, but it sticks all the way out the tailgate, making it difficult to close the door comfortably, so I won't be using it. br>If you've ever set up a pole tent before, this will be a breeze. I set it up in my yard (in the shade because it was around 90 degrees that day) and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS 2- Before taking the plunge, think it through three times. I didn't want to ruin anything by ripping it apart. It took me about 30 minutes to put it together. The only reason it took so long was because I was a slacker. I'm confident I could put this together in ten minutes. I can do it in 15 minutes (I'm 55 years old). I'm looking forward to putting it to good use. According to customer reviews, once the rain fly is in place, it significantly reduces air flow through the top screened roof. I'm thinking of rigging something up to keep the fly off the roof and allow for more airflow. We'll have to wait and see. I have a small battery-operated fan that I can use. I have a camp trip scheduled for late September 2017, but I don't think I'll be able to wait that long to give this a try. I need to find a place to camp as soon as possible! br>I'll try to remember to come back and update my review after I've camped there! Let's hope for the best.

This is a great addition to my truck
5/5

I'm glad I went with this truck tent instead of the fully enclosed version. I stopped at a campground in a national park. It was simple to set up and take down the tent. My Tundra has a rug bedliner, which is essentially a carpet that wraps around the truck bed. The addition of a truck tent was ideal. My bed became a camper as a result of the tent. Although we haven't tested the tent in the rain, we did have a windy night in the park. The tent was well-made and stayed put. br>br>Recommendation: br>br> br>I didn't like the height of the air bed in the truck bed, and I was concerned that there might be objects in the truck bed that could puncture the air bed. Rather than using an air mattress, I bought a twin foam mattress. An air bed didn't work as well as a foam mattress. You can cut a full or queen bed to fit your truck bed if you get one. I finally settled on a twin 3" foam bed. Purchase a space saver bag to help you store your foam bed.
