I should've taken a few more steps back and taken a look around

Although it appears to be a good fit right out of the box, it does not fit the tailgate. The length is correct, but the width is just under a quarter inch too narrow for a proper fit. I needed to use it because I was stuck.

THE TAIL GATE CAP IS 9 INCHES LONGER THAN THE TAIL GATE I WAS 4 INCHES LARGER THAN THE TOP AND DID NOT FOLLOW THE CONTURES. OF GATE. NOTHING APPEARS TO BE AS ADVERTISED.
