Is the width 4" and the drop 3"?

Bushwacker part 58508 has a 2" drop and measures approximately 3" in length.

Is this merely a tailgate cap, or does it extend to the sides as shown in the photo? Thanks?

It's nothing more than a cap for the tailgate.

Is this just for the tailgate, or does it extend all the way up the sides?

The tailgate and sides must be ordered separately.

It appears to be in good condition. For my 1999 Dakota club cab with the 6. 8L, I purchased the Bushwacker tailgate cap. 5' bed. It was simple to set up. 3M adhesive tape is used to keep it in place. It's stuck once you remove the tape backing and press them in place. I don't think they'll ever come off. Ever. They have a nice fit, and they are snug. All of the edges are smooth, and the texture is pleasing to the eye. br>br>I've included some photos to show you how they look, as well as the bed rail caps that I installed. Those caps aren't included with this. You must purchase them individually. br>br>So far, I've been very pleased. I think they're attractive, and they're inexpensive enough that I won't have to worry about ripping them up.
