The only thing I wish I had bought years ago was a set. It was so difficult to load my Mustangs with homemade wood ramp extensions that I had to use these ramps for years. A while ago, I bought an old Camaro for play and the low profile and long nose were even more difficult to load on my trailer than my Mustangs. It took me a while to swallow my pride and buy them. Photo shows trailer ramp handles sticking out so I contacted the manufacturer and they said it would be fine to cut a notch in the 2" section of the 5" x 2" high notch without compromising the safety of the ramp. We did and they are so perfect now. The price is a bit steep, but it is well worth it. Had I bought it years ago, I would have saved a lot of money!.
I am very pleased with the product. I will buy it I only have one complaint about it I have to load and unload it on a gravel driveway, so the bottom is getting worn down after many In my opinion, I think 1/4 inch plywood should be applied to the underside. Is there a possibility that the bottom could be strengthened with wood and with a thicker layer of black plastic in the future? It would not be a problem if I used them as they were A five-star review. I find it so much easier to load my car with this.
There is no better solution to an age-old problem than this. The boards no longer slip, and the metal extensions that are cumbersome to move and store are no more. Ramps should not slip in the rain or when they are slick. A well-designed trailer should include these features, whether it is for a professional race team or a local landscaper. My wish I had them years ago would have been to have them light, compact, and help me accomplish the tasks I have set. Don't let them pass you by. Even if you need a size not available in the stock, they will do custom work for you.
Put a piece of wood or steel under the ramp to prevent damage to the foam block before pulling trailers on race ramps.
I love how it works.
A tilt car hauler was able to carry a Corvette.
They are a perfect match for my husband, who uses them for his towing business.
That is so much better than the homemade wood ramps I used to possess. Comparatively, it is nothing like that. The ramps are much lighter and more compact than traditional wood ramps that are made from multiple layers of planks. They are shorter because the incline is smooth and does not follow a step pattern. It is impossible for them to The best job I've ever had.
