When laid flat, the center of this ramp set is 2-inches wide. The ends should be 1/2" to 3" higher than the beginnings. The Five Star Ramp Set measures 7 inches in height.
The distance between the ramp and the trailer hookup will be 2 inches. This is going to be a 90-degree angle. 4 3/8" will be the distance between the angles.
My zero turn is performed on a longer ramp. If the back of the trailer isn't more than a foot off the ground, this will work.
I'm unfamiliar with the process of loading a vehicle onto a car dolly. The problem of loading a low car (Triumph TR4/A) onto a large car trailer has been solved. The problem was that when using the ladder ramps that came with the car trailer, the car's tail would drag. Two sets of ramps are used as a solution. The end of the ramp from the car trailer is raised by placing it on a 4x4 and letting it rest on the ground. The second ramp is modified to have a downward-facing lip at the top that hooks onto a cross piece on the ladder ramp, making it an extension of the ladder ramp. The lip is necessary to prevent the car from launching the second ramp while loading, which could pose a safety hazard. I used heavy steel ramps for the second set of ramps, which were difficult to maneuver into my pickup's bed. I recently purchased aluminum ramps and discovered that the angle piece on the end intended for engaging the car trailer will hook onto the ladder ramps, eliminating the need for a lip. I have not yet used them, but I do not anticipate any issues. I'm content with my lot in life.

The Five Star Aluminum Ramp Set For Trailers is an excellent product that is well worth the purchase price. I considered fabricating / welding my own steel ramps, but the cost of steel and my time outweighed the value of these ramps. In addition, I had to consider the ramps' weight. Anyone can easily move these ramps. In addition, the company will contact you to see if the ramps can be made to your exact specifications. This was ideal for me because I needed flat ramps but had decided on arched ramps instead. My flat ramps were built by them, and they're fantastic. I bought three sets to completely fill the end of my trailer (steel would have weighed over 1000 pounds and been extremely difficult to work with). The aluminum ramps are extremely strong, and they do not bend or give under the weight of my tractor (7800 pounds).
The fact that they are manufactured in the United States adds to the value of my purchase. I'm ready to part with ten dollars. 00 more to purchase a product made in the United States of America. Buying them made in the United States also resulted in a significantly faster delivery time. Scott, like others, called to double-check that I had ordered the correct ramps. We decided that I should change my order to straight ramps after a brief discussion. There was no additional charge for the change, and the ramps were delivered two days later. br>They are well-made, with no sharp or rough edges. They took care of my 60" zero turn like it was nothing. Even if I don't detach the bush hog, I'm confident they'll do the same for my neighbor's 3500 pound John Deere tractor. If I'm mistaken, I'll correct it in this review.
First, within 24 hours of placing the order, I received a call from the seller (if memory serves, it was Scott), a super friendly guy who asked if I was sure I ordered the right items (short version, I ordered ramps that I knew I'd have to modify to use) we chatted for a bit then Scott informed me that he had an option that would better suit my needs and he had the items shipped within 2 hours. br>br>When the ramps arrived, I was br>br>I've only used them to load my Honda Accord and my Tracker XTR1000 UTV, but they're powerful! I'm pretty sure I could load these into a full-size truck. br>br>Excellent product, excellent customer service, and I am a satisfied client. The customer service associated with these ramps is by far the most impressive feature! Scott from the company called me before they were shipped to confirm that the image on Amazon was indeed what I was looking for (it was!). He wanted to make sure I was happy before sending the package! That's all there is to it, folks! Also, the delivery was lightning fast. I live in a trailer park (farmers, hunters, and four-wheelers abound! ) and the ramps have received a lot of positive feedback. What more could you ask for at such a low price than an American-made, light, strong, and attractive product? It's deserving of 6 stars if that were possible!.

To get my 1700lb side x side UTV (Polaris RZR1000XP) onto my open deck trailer, I needed some serious heavy duty ramps. I bought some aluminum ramps from Harbor Freight at first, but they buckled as soon as I put a wheel on them, so I returned them right away. After much research, I discovered these Five Star ramps, which are 100X better for only a few dollars more. They're well-crafted and incredibly durable. When it came to loading two UTVs onto the trailer, they wouldn't budge. They even delivered them in less than a week, which was a pleasant surprise given that they were custom-made. This is an excellent product from an excellent firm.
Wow. I placed an order and, to my delight, received an email from the manufacturer/seller in which I was asked numerous questions about my trailer and its primary purpose. Their customer service was able to assist me in determining the size and style of ramp they would build and send me through a couple of exchanged emails. To attach to the back of my trailer, I decided on a 50" straight ramp with a dovetail hook. I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but the appearance and quality of these ramps are impressive; I will provide an update after my first use. I spoke with Scott prior to my order being shipped, and he confirmed my order with me and made a few custom modifications to ensure the ramps fit my exact needs, as many other reviews have mentioned. He was extremely courteous, knowledgeable about their products, and the ramps were delivered incredibly quickly!br>br>I doubt I'll ever need another set of these ramps because they appear to be of extremely high quality (I'll update this review if that changes), but if I do, I'll be sure to buy them here! The welds are neat and professional, and the aluminum is of good quality. I intend to use these ramps for a long time.
