A few days ago, I installed this product on my truck. I found it to be quite easy to set up and works very well. Although heated leather seats are complicated to install, they are convenient. There is no mention of this in the installation instructions, nor in the videos I found online. Be aware that if you have heated leather seats, the grommet beneath the passenger seat used to pass the wire harness through will already have a wire harness passing During the same process, you will need to rip out the rubber grommet and force the tailgate lock wiring through the grommet.

I took less than an hour to install it, and it works perfectly since that's what it's supposed to do. The instructions are detailed and easy to understand. This kit is the best quality of all the remote tailgate kit options available on the market. Plastic grommets were added, removing drilling from the cab.
